Met each other at work 4yrs ago and have been in each other's space constantly. We're both antisocial and rather just be with each other so this would be perfect for us. I'm excited and looking forward to it.
yes thats how my boyfriend at the time(now husband) did. he became a trainer at the company he was at and they put me through school so when i got out he would train me. i REFUSED to get in the truck with anybody else lol... but trust and believe, we "broke up" sooo many times before we got married kmsl but neither one of us went anywhere for the "break ups" tho
The thing about sign on bonuses. Most companies if not all of them. Will give you 52 weeks of payments equal to that bonus. So if you get $5000 sign on bonus. They will first see what they equal up to. That’s about $92 a week. But then there’s taxes on top of that. Taxes take about 60% of bonuses because it is considered a gift. So you’ll get paid additional $38. Per week.

What’s going on my favorite trucking couple??? Hope y’all staying safe out there... From a person who teamed for a year, and trained for a year... I definitely wouldn’t do neither again.. Unless my wife decided to get into trucking; that would be the only way.. It takes a lot out of you to share such a small space with a complete stranger for a long period of time
Peace Queen and King, have you guys always worked for a company or do you own your own truck? Have you ever thought of owning your own truck, ? Why or why not?
Nice video! My wife and I recently retired from the same service. Our goal is to sign on with a mega courtier and team drive. We are looking for not only a decent wage but also experiencing the lifestyle. Question. Do you two get to see some of the towns you roll through? Of course when not on dispatch. We are hoping to use our reset time and days off to see places we have never seen.
Life on the road with your significant other is amazing if you have a good relationship. It's very liberating. Getting to travel and spend time together while making good money! Hopefully she comes around and goes for it. Good luck
I’ve been driving for knight almost two years. My girl about to get her CDL. We want to team drive, but knight said she have to drive at least 15,000 to 30,000 miles alone before she team drive. Is there any other companies where she can automatically team drive with me fresh out of school?
Had to scroll a while through alot of videos on couples trucking and every thumbnail was a couple that looked emotionally drained like they were about to murder each other.
I have a CDL and my wife is thinking about getting one you have smaller children and we were considering teams is there anything beneficial to our situation

No you could not have teamed with a female!😡 I tried female trainers and they were AWFUL. Two women together is just not cool. I was miserable during training in general but it was even worse with my female trainers... I love being with my husband though. I just miss him when he’s sleeping 🤣🙃
We started with SWIFT and enjoyed our time with them. I’m sure your tired of hearing it but PRIME is a great place to start also, probably the highest paying to my knowledge. I would advise get all your endorsements, keep a clean record and use your first few years to learn the industry and sharpen your business mind.

Most companies from my understanding I would say approximately a month should complete most mentor training programs.
Can you team if you are both new drivers? I know for a fact I’m going to get my cdl (hopefully in training by February) but I only wanna team with my fiancé.
