I remember seeing this trailer for the first time when I was 11. At first I thought “this looks like a cool movie about the moon landing.” Then by the end of the trailer, it was revealed that it was the next transformers movie, I lost my shit.
I remember watching this for the first time at my friend's house when I was 10. We both were huge Transformers fans and when we saw this we were so excited
I’m not the biggest fan of Transformers but man I remember this teaser trailer had me SOLD. It was so incredibly intriguing. One of the most underrated movie trailers out there.
@@blueraccoon1088at least Vector Prime was a better father figure to Optimus in Cybertron. Way better than Sentinel in this movie. Especially the ultimate sacrifice that Vector made, to help his family to get back to Cybertron, & save the universe from the Black Hole.
I can’t tell you in words how much hype there was for Dark of the Moon in 2010-2011. That was probably the best time for me as a kid so many great things came out that year and DOTM was the pinochle of that. The Speculation that followed this teaser and hype train was great.
@@tferen3475 in the original concept art, Sentinel Prime was yellow, maybe as an homage to his G1 colors of blue and yellow. but since he turns into a fire truck in the film, they decided red.

Neil you are dark on the rock and the mission is a go. I remember watching the moon landing in 1969. This was a great scene and had we thinking was there a mission within a mission.
Except for Revenge of the fallen,Age of extinction,and the last knight since they feel like your typical Michael bay film since they felt too different than transformers 1&3 and the bumblebee spin off (don’t know about rise of the beasts and transformers one though)
@@Mr.Feather130 bro all 5 films felt the same, only difference is that tf3 and tf07 felt slightly more competent as films despite having the same things as the other 3. Rotb felt like a bayverse film as well but more comparable to tf3 and tf07 in my eyes.

As soon as I saw the "From Director Michael Bay, And Executive Producer Steven Spielberg" tagline, and when I saw all those familiar looking robots, i was literally telling my dad, "OMG, ITS TRANSFORMERS 3!!!" So many great memories... I really wish I could turn back time to the good old days
Wake me up from stasis. Well this is crazy. Keep in mind we had not seen the movie yet, and we were hopeing for the adaptation of something. Anything from existing transformers media. Dark of the moon is such a slog to watch now. Easily the slowest paced one, nothing really happens as it tries to build up the moon conspiracy drama.
