You can pay first-semester at least but be sure to have the means to pay the balance or have the balance already in your account just in case. I was given a coop letter and student permit.

Please my passport is stamped and i want to ask Please my brother is my sponsor and he has paid my first semester fees and he was the one that used his bank statement for the application. Please should i get updated bank account from him and i have a brother inlaw in canada who will pick me up .should i come with money as well.
Note my other school fees and living expenses my brother said he will send it to me as i get into canada or settled

Yeah! Just come with a few dollars for the physical cash just in case. For your brother, since you identified him as your sponsor, it's not a problem but have some money in your account too.

You can get it at the airport or your location. But if you have time, do it at the airport for lesser charges

Yes! It was cash and if you go with a larger sum like the amount you mentioned, you will have to declare it.

You mean your my SOP
Oh no! After your visa has been stamped, IRCC sends that letter to your IRCC portal. That is the last message you will get on your visa approval process.

@@okerekefaith6094 It is an entirely different experience for different people. Some even as of 2023 still took a long time (Saw 8 months). I am guessing it is still same. Maybe, one should focus on being strategic on the documents being submitted and then, PRAY😭

I applied myself.
If I am a sponsor as well as my parents for proof of funds, can I print out my bank statement and that of my parents to show at the port of entry or do I have to open my phone banking app to show them for proof?
If you can sponsor yourself, your parents can also transfer the money to your account. If you explained this before application, then, It's fine. Which means you can present your account statement.

If my parents are my sponsor, how do I show proof of funds at the port of entry?
@@ginikachiokoroafor4550 First, it is not everyone they ask for bank statements. But if your parents are your sole sponsor, you can have their bank statement and I believe they can transfer some money to you to show them if asked. As I mentioned in the video, I was not asked but if they did, would have shown them my Lemfi account with explanation why.

Can he also submit his paycheck?
Will he being a citizen affect my home ties back to Nigeria. Cause I am trying to reduce mentioning him as much as possible in my SOP even though I know they know I have a sibling over there

Can an employer sponsor for my studies in Canada?
It is dicey. If you can give a very reasonable reason why your employer would want to sponsor you for such a venture, you can try it. But in my opinion, don't do it. Rarely gets approved

Did you apply for your co-op online before you left Nigeria?
You do not need to apply for coop. If your program requires a coop, your school will give you a letter which you will show the IRCC officer and in return, they give you a coop letter.
