This is really pretty! I have a question though, would polishing remove parts of the patina?
You can polish the patina right of, yes. So be careful, use a light hand.
Where could I find this pattern? The one I bought says beginner but harder than I expected
I may have just missed it but where can I find the pattern for this leaf? So many others look way more detailed and I'm a beginner. Thanks
If you're just starting out, can you grind/shape the glass with a dremel?
You can, but it’s dusty so wear a mask. Also a grinding stone works good and we have one here for $23. amzn.to/3xTZ5Yk
Ed, great video. I was wondering if you sell patterns to make this Maple leaf. I am just starting out and think this would be a great first project.
Yes I do. They will all be online in August.
@@ARTyRV Ed, I checked the website and did not see the pattern for the Maple leaf.
Best Regards,
Dave
I'm trying to cut the angles to make a block "O" that is approximately 6 1/4" H X 4 5/8" W. There will be 8 pieces of red glass that I will be wrapping with foil and solder together to make the Ohio State block "O" as a gift. I'm having trouble with cutting the angles to get 8 pieces to fit together accurately.
Your pattern is your guide. Number the side that faces up. Use a straight edge, grind lightly. Good luck!
Is baking soda the same as bicarbonate soda in the UK 🇬🇧
