as a kid living in Arizona I found a baby Chuckawalla (what everyone I knew called them). He was the sweetest little guy and stayed that way into adulthood. One interesting thing about them, when scared they will find a crevice and a inflate so you can't remove them. Native Americans hunted them for food and carried a sharpened stick to poke and deflate them.
My biggest regret with reptiles is although I love my first ball python, when I bought her 8 years ago there was a Mexican black kingsnake for 50 bucks. I do wish I had bought him instead now that that is a species i am looking to breed.
Hey Adam, I've been watching your videos for just under a year now. Thank you for making such helpful and educational videos, as well as fun ones! I had a video idea. I am not sure how good this will be, but maybe a video called something like "reptiles your parents wont be scared of". A lot of people want reptiles but they have family members who are scared of snakes and other things. Maybe a video of reptiles/amphibians that are undeniably cute would help people convince their family to stop fearing reptiles.
Wickens Wicked Reptiles Absolutely, dude! Uncommon species, reptile care videos, and all the sneks! And not to be that creep in the comments, but you present the info you’re conveying very well. And you’re handsome, so there’s that too. 🙈
Sorry, I forgot to add, Ive been waiting for your new vid to pop up just to ask this question: Do you breed feeder insects? I was thinking you could perhaps do a feeder breeding care tutorial when you have time. Like dubias, crickets, mealworms, superworms etc. The first 3 especially. Id suggest do them seperately and if the first one goes well, commence with the others. Only if you actually breed your own, and have the time of course! :)

One of my favorite things about you is that, from what I can tell, you respond to as many comments as possible, if not all of them. No offense, but I hope your channel doesn’t get much bigger because I wouldn’t want you to feel stressed to reply to every single comment of thousands. At the same time, though, if this is your primary source of income (I’m new, so I don’t know), I absolutely want you to get bigger. Keep up the amazing work!!!
Hey Adam! Loved the video! Would you ever consider getting mourning geckos? I’m ordering a couple from Josh’s Frogs and hoping to get babies within a year (since they’re all female). Would you ever consider doing a video on them? Maybe a video like “Top 5 Small Reptiles”?

Can't wait to get some! and thanks for 5:15, wasn't 100% sure how to feed an insectivore despite knowing WHAT they eat.
Getting a pair of Painted Agama's which i'm taking in as a rescue they are a great alternative to Bearded Dragon's , you should also give a mention to Toad Headed Agama's they are becoming pretty popular over here in the UK although they do need a sandy substrate and higher heating parameters

"Green Keel Bellied Lizard" yes it is a mouthful I was fortunate enough to get one. His name is Mr. Bo'beeni and he is AMAZING. No, not really good for handling, I mean I let him do his thing inside the enclosure...They are very fast!! And they are in the gecko family. Cool thing is...they are so curious that fear is quite limited. When I first got mine he was so fascinated with me and everything else that he never really was skittish....Also if you go bio active....they will pull all the leaves off your plants to make their own little bedding on the floor of the enclosure no matter if you have loose substrate or not. They also do NOT recognize standing water so misting is a definite and to be small they really do eat A LOT!!! Sadly there isn't much info on these little guys...They are easy to keep...I hope they gain more popularity soon as the few African rain forests they inhabit are about to be destroyed due to agriculture...so sad. With that said they are pretty funny and pretty awesome pets!!! Thanx for putting the word out about them
