To add, some of the older edition kill team boxes have a color cardboard version of this board (e.g. Sector Munitorum Environment Expansion). A paper mat version is also included in the Know no Fear 40k starter set from 8th edition. I thought it looked familiar! Those are probably more cost effective placeholders until (hopefully) GW re-releases the plastic tile version.
So glad I saw this video, out of wild luck I saw that GW has limited made to order re-release on these @ decent MSRP ending tomorrow (1/6/2025) SOOOOO happy I came across this video today in my feed tonight and not tomorrow. It'll take awhile to get the order but psyched after watching this video a couple times. [Kind of bummed though they didn't re-release those really neat looking floor plates.]
Wow so cool - I actually got the OG realms of Battle (the one with rock hills) last week too for a really good bargain ($150 AUD) - just figuring out how to paint it - last guy grass flocked it and it’s falling apart 😅
i realize facebook groups or local community chats have better chances rather than skyhigh price from ebay, these set i was lucky when a buddy in local community clearing space and letting it go.
Hey I’m literally pulling out my old sets too and looking to build a fortress monastery. But here in the US, even on EBay, I can’t seem to find more than 1 or any at all of those old sets. Luckily I was able to stock up on 5-6 boxes before they discontinued the line 😢
Time to build a HIVE CITY!!!! I strongly suggest you look at the sprues and save a few of them. I used them to build a custom gangtry system in my hive city build. and the floor was made with nothing but door cut outs. I saved photos of the sprues used and i can share photos, it came out amazing and it looks like its official. Mine fits over 6 necromunda tiles, so not as massive as this potential. I used 3x chalnath terrrain sets, 2.5 sets of the old sector imperalis, 1 octarius box. DO NOT FOLLOW THE GW INSTRUCTIONS! GLUE THE WALLS TO THE FLOORS - Not the other way around. My city is stackable and all buildings playable inside, with balconies everywhere. I play kill team and not 40k, so I wanted actual city like in the lore. So having non ruined buildings might not be good for 40k gameplay. Best of luck and look forward to whatever you build with this massive pile :D

i got it from local community(malaysia) mostly~ some terrain i even tried ask friend help hunt from other country like from taiwan before
