I used to do that a lot as a kid (I grew up in NY). This weekend was the National Toboggan Championships in Camden, ME. They have some crazy dressed up groups that go down a huge slide. Some serious people too. Have lots of fun.
That looks so much fun! Sam and Joey seemed to pick it so easily! Stella and Margaux are not so far behind them! My wife and I will be in the states in April / May and are looking forward to visiting some of the parks you have shown us recently!!
@@ourwildadventure....... Thanks for your reply! After our flight from Australia in mid April '25 we land in LA and the next day we fly onto Austin, Texas. There we are staying with our Texan friends for about a week and they are taking us on several daily trips (maybe overnight) , to where? ..... I Don't Know!.... maybe you could suggest a venue (i particularly liked the Tall Trees Redwood Forest that you and your family showed us recently however, that is a long 'trip' from Austin) ... but please be aware that we are in our late 70s early 80s! After leaving Austin a week later we fly to Vancouver, Canada and are, again, staying with our Canadian friends for about a week and then sent on to their friend's Condominium in Whistler for 3 or 4 days. We then return to Vancouver and board the Coral Princess to cruise the Inside Passage for 11 days and return to Vancouver to fly back to LA . We are staying in LA for about a week before flying back to Australia. I am sorry if I have bored you with all this detail but I wanted to "spell it all out" in the hope that we may be able to "catch up" sometime ...... 'regards Graeme
Now you're talking...and doing!! Montana isn't the first place to spring to mind when thinking of playing in the white stuff, but you guys seemed to have fun. Jackson Hole WY or Whistler/Blackcombe BC next year. Make memories now, boys & girls, so you may live vicariously through them when you're my age.
@@D4rkH0rr0r Hey! 👋 Thanks for being a member! This weekend we’re going to post a video launching the membership program at which point we’ll mention that all membership proceeds go to charity. We’ve never been snowboarding before, but we saw sooo many snowboarders out while we were skiing. The boys had a blast.
@@ourwildadventure No problem I really enjoy your guys videos, love all the place you all go. I can't go to place now days due to health reasons so always fun to see the world through others ^_^. And that so awesome can't wait to hear about the name change and everything. Keep up the amazing videos and never stop exploring
Ive been tubing many of times. I would love to learn to snowboard and then snowboard in the Swiss alps. If you all ever have any ambition on traveling over seas let me know, I will gladly give you some tips and trips. Traveling in the states is not for me until I am old and grouchy haha. I hope to take my kids one day over seas.
@@Traveler22 Oh absolutely! Yes, we’d love to travel abroad one day…once the kids are a bit older. I’ve been to Germany and many places in the Middle East, but that’s about it.
Welcome to our first Summit Members-only video. Enjoy!
Snow looks like so much fun.
Absolute fun . Not to be missed, for sure . A tad envious for snow is not something we see often in South Africa except on our higher mountains.
Ah yes! South Africa is likely beautiful in its own right
@ourwildadventure 👍

Awesome, so much fun in the snow! Sam and Joey are naturals haha
@@darbass921 Yes, they are! This was their first day skiing and they picked it up faster than when I was a kid
@@ourwildadventure good for them, tell them good job!
Looks funny! 😂
SUCH A GOOD TIME! Have you ever been tubing?

April/May is a perfect time to visit. You’ll have a blast! Do you know which parks you plan to visit?

Love the winter time!
You better believe it! We’re not too keen on the cold, but there’s a lot of fun to be had!
Woah! That’s intense!

You make me so much looking for our own snowboarding holidays in the Engadin valley next month with my beloved son.
That sounds amazing! The Engadin Valley is a beautiful place to snowboard.
Soooo cool looks so much fun, I've only snowboard once but it was a blast.

Now that's the way to do tubing. So much better than having to hike up the hill each time 😁
@@DavidHiatt-t3u I know! There’s a lift for tubing too
Wow that snow tubing hill looks huge, we go winter tubing at white tail resort but the hill doesn’t look as big as yours.
This was actually the very first time the kids and I had ever gone tubing. It was so much fun, many because it doesn’t take any skill!
