Welcome to my channel. I am a mum to a 6yr old boy and 3yr old triplet boys. In my previous life I was a primary school teacher and then teacher trainer. I now have a business which runs child-led play sessions in Cork, Ireland.

I have been following your channel for many years and I have always been in awe at how beautifully you integrate Montessori in your daily life. Then following your journey with triplets and your sickness I couldn't imagine how you were doing it all but you did fiercly and brave. You are awesome and so strong and wonderful. Gemma, this is the weirdest coincidence to search for your channel just hours after this video came out. I haven't watched it all - it's past my bedtime, tbh - besides the first few minutes. My kids loved playmobil. My son is 11 and still has a lot of the police sets some of which were my daughters when she was little and she is 16. It's good quality so lasts.

I've also been following since Dubai days... I've been wondering and worried about you, I'm so sorry that you have more tumors, and even worse I'm sure, that your little one Hendrix was ill too 😢. I can't imagine all this as a single mother too... I'm hoping for nothing but good things for you and your children moving forward!!
Oh and that foam that you can shape...I got some for my son, and at first it was fine, but the color kind of came off onto things and then he got it into our carpet, and then it got stuck to tons of fabric things... It's mess free in a safe and easy to clean area.

This is the first year that ive not bought my 3 year olds gifts yet as we are very hard up, so i will watch this video with particular interest! We also now have a baby so i will be rewatching lots of your older videos as he grows for inspiration. Beleduc makes wonderful wooden layer 4in1 puzzles, I highly recommend them for the 3yr olds. As for the boardgames to play together with a 6yr old, you might enjoy Aqualin, Ravensburger's Labyrinth and Sleeping Queens. Also, Smart games make wonderful puzzle games for one, such as Noah's Ark for example

It's weird to have a favourite child of someone you don't know personally, but he's just such a cute little boy and I love his name! My daughter is 6 now, and I started following you back in Dubai with Oscar. I will rewatch many more videos as we get into montessori with the little one also. Its so great to see you back here Gemma. I’m sorry to hear about your struggles in 2023, and send you lots of strength and positivity for your back pocket on the days you might need it. What a great gift guide. Your videos are always so helpful. A couple of things that my 6year okd boy will be getting some Lego technic (which he has had some before which says suitable for 7+ but with a bit of help can manage), some stories for his Yoto player-Roald Dahl has been a hit but he particularly loves the Ladybird Adventure ones because they are chock full of facts that he likes to wow us with. We got him a Carrera go/scalectrix (no idea how to spell those) last year and it was a big hit so we are getting some extra track.
Hi Gemma- As always I enjoy watching your Christmas videos; my daughter just turned 6 and my twin girls are 18 months; i love the book with the sleigh but it is sold out; I will remember to get it next year; i just found out my 6 year old loves tracks snd dinosaur cars that she built- i had no idea she would enjoy a toy like this! She also loves puzzles and art; she has had the Spirograph for a few months now but i needed to help her and had no time to do it with my twins; now my twins ate going to bed by 6 pm and i put her to bed at 7:30 so i get to spend extra time with her! I am sorry that this year has been so tough; i cannot imagine; i hope you get better soon and Hendrix too; and i am sorry about this year being so difficult in health and family; you are always so positive;you are a strong woman; i admire you.

I’ve just discovered you and already want more on here and insta. You are so easy to listen to and have a beautiful practical humility. Please keep going, as I know the creative side if posting will give you your purpose back. I can’t imagine how hard it is with the 4 boys. And being a single mumma throws all kinds of extra stuff at you. Just know your vids and ideas and easy way you show them are blessing many people. I think the buying gifts without a specific child in mind thing might be when you have siblings close in age, not just multiples. My kids are less than 2 years apart and I do this sometimes

You are such a great mom. I'm sure that you feel like you have nothing left to give, but somehow you keep sending strength out to all of us. Even before seeing this video I thought about you the entire time I made my son's Christmas list. He is very easily frustrated with new toys and big events and holidays are overwhelming with lots of new toys that he can't figure out yet or doesn't know how to play with immediately. I kept hearing your voice in my head saying open ended open ended open ended. I have so much anxiety about this holiday and how my son will react to toys that he has to "figure out" but because of you and your videos, I am only getting my son open ended toys where he uses his imagination and I know that he will be happy with it no matter what he chooses to do with it. There will be no wrong answers to frustrate him and hopefully we will all have a peaceful holiday. I can't thank you enough for that. Have you seen Farideh and her music on Instagram? Hi Gemma, I jumped in my seat today seeing this was about to get posted. Since I had my son in 2019 I found your channel and always been so inspired by your parenting approach, to Montessori, all the great travel and play activities etc, and continued to use alot from what you have recommended - so much so my guy is now in a Montessori school! I adore what you have accomplished with your business/playspace juggling motherhood with 4 boys, illness, and "life events" like that and still finding it in you to come out with this for us all, thank you for that, your gift guides are always so good!
