If you have lower back pain, a good exercise to make sure it doesn’t get hurt is the cat camel exercise.

Hi, What can you do for an old (74) male that has just come to ballet for the first time in my life.
Miss Orchid pray that his bones aren’t fragile and WHAT EVER YOU DO, DO NOT LET HIM DO JETES OR TURNS PLS
Look for adult Ballet classes that might also do Senior specific classes. Queensland Ballet (Australia) do them. And you might want to only do the barre part of class and 'walk out' the center. We all have limits to our bodies so only do what yours can, don't try to imitate others, only look to other people for the step and not how to do it as you may not learn the step correctly. Enjoy your journey :)
go to a beginner class and do the barre portion of class. you'll get super strong!
Very gentle somatic approaches to achieve full body awareness and then childsteps up to some basic excercises for all-round mobility and motoric skills. Good posture and flexibility and fun little dances. Floor work, yoga, pilates, warm stretching. Self-awareness in front of the mirror and chin up 😊
Careful on ur training,u might broke ur bones tho,but nice!although its a bit late but its good that even an old person can still dance!
