Wow, wow. I just discovered this video (5 years after publication) after receiving our green organic waste bin (ordering a 2nd one). This is much less automated than I thought. A thousand thanks to the people working this manual sorting line at such a dizzying pace. I thought there would be more water/gravity processing to separate different materials. Such a large portion of the glass must be broken by the time it reaches the conveyor, which makes sorting by type/color that much harder. Does all the small glass go into landfill? ♲ This highlights the need to REDUCE & REUSE, where recycle is almost a "last resort." Thanks for publishing this.
