Red Lobster SHUTS 50 LOCATIONS Sparking Fear Of MAJOR Economic Crises Looming, Democrats PANIC - Розваги
-85 employees per location, 50 locations closed is about 4250 people that lost their job. FJB
But it's a strong economy.... they can all find Blue Lobster jobs tomorrow!

That seems a little high.
I don’t believe one location has 85 employees. My local RL that I went to about a year had maybe little over a dozen employees.
Red Lobster is in a bad situation. Rich people won't eat there because it's practically McDonalds to them, and middle class people who used to eat there can no longer afford it.
Their food is excellent and reasonably priced.
I don't think so. I haven't eaten there for 10 yrs @@robryder1568
@@robryder1568 Honestly, always been out of price for middle class where I live. Though the upper middle class will go there. Food ain't bad, but it isn't thaaat good
@@robryder1568I wouldn’t call it excellent or reasonably priced. Are you a red lobster shill? I worked there for years as a sever and I wouldn’t use those words to describe it. Hence why they are closing 50 locations. It’s bad and overpriced.
Rich people won't eat there because the food is better in most seafood restaurants anywhere in America. All you have to do is go to the wealthy part of town to find the alternative to Red Lobster.
Don't forget if you voted for Biden you did This!
About 35% of them think the economy is fine, according to polls
I don't think it's going to get better under Trump. This is a long time coming under multiple administrations of both parties. I hope I'm wrong, and I'm not defending Biden policies.

As a self employed plumber. The only calls I get are wealthy old people or contractors. No families or young people. The economy sucks
They’d rather do it themselves. They can afford the time for home repair but not the money
UA-cam also makes it easy for anyone with a brain, can watch a video and learn to fix it.
@@EverguardVPN yea I get a lot of calls fixing home owners repairs though. I agree as long as you get the right video and actually have common sense go for it but not all people have these skills. The stuff I have seen is wild.
The key to plumbing is having the right tools for the job.
Having years of experience is great when it comes to knowing what parts and supplies are the best quality.
But Home Depot is packed on the weekend. People can't afford Plumbers.
As a tile contractor I have seen the same pattern.... work is definitely slowing down..... Idk how much longer we can run our small business. I'm pretty close to go into another profession.... it sucks cuz I do beautiful work.
The Media- "Bidenomics is working."
Also the Media-"Red Lobster closes 50 locations Country wide."
Again also the Media-"Its Trump's fault."
Also the media as well: "...and why that's actually good!"
They're only gonna be able to blame trump for so long
Well... it is Trumps fault... but more the fault of Congress... who got together and decided to approve of "shutdowns" and stimulus spending which can only come from the pockets of our children's futures. Trump agreed to the shutdowns and stimulus as well. He is no better.... just not AS blame worthy as Biden who has been part of this problem for decades.

Many people won't blame the pres though they'll just dismiss it as another business that failed due to mismanagement.
Get rid of most taxes, most regulation, most government and the country will flourish.
But...but... how will the Dems be able to afford their bought and paid-for voter block?
Or just anything the uniparty pushed hand in hand
I agree. The only 'Great Reset' we need is a reset in our government.
This is 100% true but it goes against emotional appeals to socialist policy. Unfortunately over half of the country are simpletons that vote like animals based on emotion.
amen, if the economy starts to break down. we should literally just cut off all this spending. if people think this will cause homeless and unable old people to be screwed then they dont know how the economy works
t's sad how difficult things have become in the present generation. I was wondering how to utilise some money I had. I used some of it for e-commerce business, but that sank. I'm thinking of how to use what's left to invest, but I don't really know which way to go.
I understand how you feel. It's a little bit difficult to navigate things these days. You don't wanna lose whatever is left. I may suggest that you find a financial advisor who could give you thorough advice on how to go if you want to go the investment route. Also, the fact your business failed doesn't mean you should give up.
That's right. I have tried many failed businesses and it's just a step further. Don't despair. But to add, if you do decide to use a financial advisor, it's best you use someone who understands your special needs and can work with you. I learnt this from experience before finally finding one I can stick with. Now I make six figures from my investments alone, and even more from my businesses.
Thank you for the advice. When you say financial advisor, are you talking about hedge funds? And how do I get in touch with one?
'Amber Dawn Brummit' is the licensed advisor I use. Just research the name. You’d find necessary details to work with to set up an appointment.
She looks to be well-educated and well-read. I ran an online search on her name and came across her website; thank you for sharing.
I own a business that has been around for 50 years and people are more broke than I've ever seen before.
I had an automotive repair shop for 11yrs. Last October I shut it down. Ultra low quality parts at high prices meant trying to cut labor costs to try and stay competitive. While a temporary stop gap, the part issues meant more warranties and dissatisfied customers, and that word of mouth hurts. I tried several different parts sources only to find out that said parts came from 1 or 2 manufacturers, basically re-boxed. Using dealer parts for say a brake job prices 1 out of the market. Add all of that up, coupled with soaring taxes and liability insurance, and that was it. My last customer had to use 4 different CC's to pay for her repairs. They were all maxed out.
More and more people seen OK with everything being garbage, that is until it breaks and they make it your fault for wanting everything to be Amazon or Walmart Chinesium.
@@adamtrombino106 FJB, FBO!
@@adamtrombino106you should keep trying. Most people can’t afford a new car so they’re going to keep theirs longer. I am debt free and in position to buy newer, but I would rather not have a car payment and just pay for repairs.
One of the first things people stop doing in an economic slowdown is to stop eating out.
If more people would stop, we could actually see some change in the industry. When only some stop, prices go up and quality goes down to make up for it. I wonder what would happen if 75% of people stopped going out and cooked their own food

It’s simple. Hardly anyone has the disposable income for eating out regularly, particularly when the restaurant’s costs have skyrocketed with food and labor costs.
The quality has gone down immensely and the service is terrible and they want to charge more than ever. When it costs 50 buks to feed your family chicken nuggets and 60 to just get a few big steaks people don't want to spend the money on the terrible stuff anymore. Been in the restaurant industry for 6 years. I have been applying at every restaurant in a 20 mile radius for two months and cant get a job anywhere. No ones going out to eat and restaurants are all losing money. The economy is so laughably over
you are missing the fact that 4 yrs ago during covid when restaurants desperately needed workers, compared to today, biden has let in approximately 7 million illegal migrants into the interior of the united states (that we know about). what service industry do you think these people go to when they seek work? the restaurant industry. plenty of people are going out to eat, believe me. your job has just been given to illegals.
Restaurant prices in general are just getting ridiculous. We ate at Red Lobster a few weeks ago, for two adults and a toddler we had two plates of food and one appetizer with no alcoholic drinks. Base bill was $120ish after the tip $150 for lunch. The same meal 5 years ago was probably a $75 lunch.

I ate at Red Lobster at least once every two weeks. Was a rewards member. Once they started jacking up the prices and removing things from the menu I started cutting back. In the last year it was so extreme I ate there once, saw the bill and I’m done going back. It’s just not worth it. Local restaurants have better values.
I raised 4 kids waiting tables In the late 90s thru the 2010s. It’s not as busy and with everywhere from liquor stores to food trucks asking for tips. People are not tipping like they used to. One of my daughters waits tables just like her mom. She makes an ok living but with Biden bucks. It doesn’t go as far.
Our small family run coffee shops are struggling, we are making it work. We would be nowhere if it weren’t for my free time being spent doing photography, and marketing on our own and not outsourcing that. It’s wild.
The dairy queen in my town just permanently closed.
just had lunch at ours on Saturday
NOT the DQ !
I had to barrow money from my own job to pay to have my car fixed
I've never understood how Red Lobster stayed open for so long. I went there about 20 years ago and was shocked how expensive it was. You can get waaaaay better seafood for just a little bit more money, or maybe even the same amount!
It was overpriced garbage for every demographic.
So if everything does collapse…. Do we all still have to pay off our student loans?🤷🏼🤣
Or rent?
Yes, it's your debt, not mine
You signed the dotted line, you should be the one to pay the fine.
My local red lobster was one of them that closed down……..
With the federal reserve i fear there is no way out of where the economy is headed
Are we talking about the type of economic crisis like the one that took place back in 1929?
My opinion.
1. They are stained with a negative reputation that their food is not impressive
2. With many workers that literally just don’t care or that are bitter (understandably or not) with their wages retail and some restaurant businesses are just not functioning successfully.
The Cooker was a good restaurant, but management was the cause of the franchise to go out of business. The place had some good food.
if you think you will be able to fund a family while working at a fast food franchise...YOU fucked up. dont blame the resto. it literally tells you that YOU have zero fucking skills or ability to get skills. no one but YOU fucked up
If i go out to eat it's Texas Roadhouse 2 times a year.
Blew my mind that they were about the same price as McDonalds. Lol
Roadhouse man !!
My mom asked me how bad things will get. I told her to read the end times prophecies and ask herself how much of that would happen if the US was still able to prevent it.
It's already happening... I grew up in USSR, and everything seemed totally fine until one day it wasnt...
It's going REALLY badly for Ikea too, you should look into that.
Do we care, though? Bad furniture? We literally have Amish that make better furniture in the US. It's just more expensive.
@@SydneyBristow0788 Oh all of my furniture is from second hand stores where I can legit get a solid wood table for one tenth the price of Ikea.
But it was such a giant convenience chain that to see it suffer so much is something.
@@SydneyBristow0788 yea but the Amish are primarily in Ohio and pa. That doesn't do much for most of the country
The warning of war would definitely spark fear in an economic collapse.
i quit Red Lobster 20 years ago because of their prices.
I have worked for Walmart for 11 years. I see the price of food going up every day for the past 3 years.
This administration can redefine it all they want but we are definitely in the middle of a recession or even a depression
When the kool-aid single packets cost anywhere from 36 cents to 50 cents, it's time to re-evaluate everything 😂
To be fair, that is because the sugar lobby in the US jacks up the price of sugar massively via tariffs to ensure they can compete internally. Price of sugar outside the US is bottom basement.
Non-perishable food, water and ammo
Restaurants have low turnout.
Raise prices.
Restaurant has even lower turnout.
Raises prices and shrinks amount of food.
Restaurant raises prices.
No one comes.
Restaurant just cant seem to stay open.
Ya doesnt make sense at all .
I've been telling people this crap for 30 years I got sick and tired of telling them they kept looking at me like I was stupid now it's happening
Tim "will you sit idle pre collapse? You just need to spend tens of thousands to millions to move". I'll get right on that
I live in Chico, CA. The Red Lobster here closed two months ago.
The silence from the media is deafening with the economy. Everyone is isolated and has no voice , thinking it’s them.
Even with the closure of banks last year, the media contained it well and no one was heard. People just lost their jobs and money and not a word.
It’s the craziest time we’ve been living
The media is easily contained. 6 corporations own 90% of the media. You only need to target 6 corporations to get 90% coverage. That isnt freedom of the press. Why? Because government isnt doing its job and using the anti trust laws to break up the companies. Why? Because it benefits them and makes it easier to control the narrative
In that CNN interview Biden claimed that 'people have $'...Speaking of being isolated..or on another planet...
