- Hope you enjoyed this video of me applying tape in extensions on myself. Just want to inform or remind everyone I am not a hairdresser or a professional when it comes to hair whatsoever. I have had no formal training and am not a cosmetologist. I simply have had a lot of practice on myself and other when it comes to extensions. I know they're not perfect, but I am happy with them. If you're not comfortable and would rather not take any chances I would recommend seeing a professional. Having said this was a fairly easy process, especially if you have a friend to help with the back.

tip: its much easier to put the first tape on top of hair and then pick up the extension and flip it up to top of head. it will lift up the hair that is attached and they you can see where to put the bottom tape extension layer.. also you should start in the middle bottom of back and work your way up. glam seamless has a chart for DIY tape ins..
I recently saw that method, definitely gonna try that next time ! Yeah I would have started at the bottom but i was worried I wouldn’t have enough and didn’t want to run out and have not enough for the top 😣

Love you girl, looks good! Pro tip, if the extensions are secured to too thin or too small of a piece of hair it can cause tension breakage so just be mindful of that. I know you’re working super hard to grow your hair out 💜💕

They look really good, my only tip would be next time use a needle nose pliers to really seal them together 😉😁❤ makes a big difference in the lasting impact

That looks good 👍. It's recommended that you put your sandwiches in the middle of a flat iron. Fairly low heat about 180° not really hot! You look great! I am going to try tape ins for the first time. I wonder why they say that you can't do them yourself. It's fairly easy.it will just take time and practice to get more precise.

New subscriber here, I really loved you video. I know I'm a year late but the extension's look great on you. The only thing I would ask is that when you start a new layer You kind of explained to us what you're doing because I have no clue LOL so did you do 3 layers or 2 layers? By the way you are adorable with or without the extensions. Have you kept purchasing these? Is this something you still continue?
Can tape extensions easily cause hairloss even when I have only used it once and gently tore them off my hair instead of extensions remover?

I have really fine, crappy, breakable hair, would the adhesive damage my hair when removing them? Or does it just loosen over time and come out without pulling? Thanks for the great video!
You have to use the remover oil system to remove and the more carefully you do it, don’t pull or rip, the less hair you’ll lose in the process

What did the hair look like after 1.5 months of wearing?
Has anyone else started wearing extensions also just because you have also had problems having short and thin hair for a long time and not been able to get long and thick hair again which you don't have patience or not even have time to wait for some special reasons as me?
How long can tape extensions be on hair, can it be used again several times on hair, how long can it last before it gets worn out, how many tape exensions do I need for short and thin hair when I want long and thick hair, how can I keep it on my hair without it falling off, does it feels natural like our own hair when we wear it, will tape attachment be invisible on short and thin hair, can it make hair worn, how to blow-dry my hair and tape extensions without it being worn if tape extensions have to be blow-dryed every time I wash both my hair and tape extensions and do tape extensions need any other products than just extra tape, remover and another shampoo and conditioner?
I want these but don’t know how to wear my hair up with them
When applying them make sure you space them 2 fingers width from the base of your hairline in the back and also around the ears 💕

No, those vitamins won't help you with damage. Get Olaplex treatments done.

I just got them yesterday and installed today, I paid $28 or so for a 16” pack of 20. They are soft! I haven’t washed them yet so we’ll see how they get after that. The ends are so weird! They have like a black tip, like it’s burned at the ends, the tape does kind of come off when peeling of the blue part of the tape protector (doesn’t come with extra replacements) I used two packs and it was honestly enough for my head. I applied them myself so some of them are not well placed so like 2 of them hurt but besides that the rest it’s all good. I could probably use another pack just to fill in some gaps and blend it a little more but hey it’s all good! 7/10.

One or two months. Even three sometimes but depends on how fast your hair grows

Tasha Robinson no she only has a few tattooed, she still draws them on when she does her makeup
Most of these are actually tattoed, at the beginning of the video before I do my makeup those are all tattooed, and then I draw a couple extra on with various brown eyeliner pens

do these hurt? like when you brush your hair? can you wear your hair up? are they easy to take out? sorry for all the questions, I've never used them.
You can wear your hair up if they're put in the right way. But tape ins are not worth it imo. They're v high maintenance, like you have to take them out and redo them so much, and they're AWFUL to remove. I remember when I had them in high school and my mom did them bc she went for cosmetology in college so they were done right. But the amount of hair I lost was ridiculous. I naturally have v thick curly hair and it would be so hard to not accidentally brush the top of your hair near the extensions and NOT backcomb your hair at the roots into the tape. It's like lil rats nests at the roots. And so much hair comes out when you remove them.

U say u got 40 extensions total , bit in the bio it says u used 3 packs so can u please clarify how much is better to use?
There are 20 pieces per pack, I used 3 packs for more volume
With tape in hair extensions 20 pieces is 10 sandwiches so two packs would be 20 sandwiches so after her third pack she would’ve had 30 in total. If your hair is thick and/or blunt like this the more packages are needed
Next time cut the extensions in half. They work wonderful
I have seen people taking one piece and folding it around the tiny section of your own hair 😃
Not a great idea. It can cause matting and tension breakage.
