V4s are not used in anything but motorcycles…
Good review. Two things though, the engine is not a "V" configuration, and all new cars built in the US since 2012 have traction control. It's a law, it's not just Nissan.
_Thanks and my 2015 VW Jetta has no traction control button, looking into the logistics shows its only available though software modification_
Oh, you were talking about having an Off button? I don't know if that's a requirement, apparently not, but I think all the cars with traction control I've driven did have an Off button? I used to have to turn the traction control off in my Saturn to get out of my driveway in snow sometimes, and several times I had to turn it off in the Chevy HHR I used to drive at work, just to get moving on a hill. Traction control is nice to have but most people don't understand that it doesn't actually give you more traction, it just prevents you from spinning the wheels. If your tires don't have traction you ain't got traction and no electronic device is gonna make it for you. That leads to a lot of false security and accidents with people who think they can't get stuck or lose control and proceed to drive like idiots. Same with ABS.
_Yeah I agree, every car should have a traction control OFF button, especially a German car (Jetta) where it's cold and potentially icy_
