I’ve been living in Texas for 18 years and to see this made me smile my family still lives on sage ave and it’s crazy how much it’s changed. Thanks for sharing!
I lived in Corona during this era. I was about 24. I had a new Ford Ranger. I would take lonely day drives out to Barstow and back. Some days I would drive through Rialto and other parts of the, so-called, "IE." Beginning in April 2001, we would go to the Speedway every year. I think I worked at the LA Fitness in Covina on this date. About six months later I worked at the presale LA Fitness in Laverne. I had the best time of my life between Summer 2000 and October 16, 2002! I had great times afterwards, but those were great times.
I lived 2 homes away from riverside ave and cactus..that brown 2 story cabin looking house. Lived there from 86-06. When we moved from la. Riverside ave and highland was a cow pasture, then later Hughes market. ... looking at this video I remember when baseline and riverside was the 76 station and across the street a really small gas station.
I moved rialto in 95/96 I remember walking to the stores on foothill and sycamore I could see all the way up to cactus hardly no cars and I remember also going to the drive threw fast food places with my parents and no lines no waits the city was dead now days you can't see up the streets like back in those days and drive threws are a pain waiting ...my street was so empty no cars parked in the street now days my street looks like a car lot and back in those days our street the owners use to take care of there houses and yards now days most of the damn neighbors park there cars on the front yard and makes it look getto ...
grew up in rialto, and it’s so crazy to see how different it was in 99’ compared to now, never knew so many patches of dirt were all over the city, crazy. good vid 👍
Me and my mom just moved to Victorville from Rialto after being there for 19 years of my life. It's crazy how much things have changed since i was a kid.
I was in rialto in 01/05/2000 visiting my sister, I'm from Dallas Texas i haven't been back since then now im married with children I'm showing my wife how Rialto was last time I was there, its crazy how things change.
Hey Gilbert, across the street from that McDonald's there is an Alberto's. Do you remember what restaurant that was back then? Been trying to remember what that was back in the 80s.
@@richierich4538 I moved out to the IE in 1988 and just couldn't remember if that was something else that I forgot but Im not familiar with Naugles. Thanks for the reply.

Look so quiet and peaceful, should have been like that yet. Now there are even more people. They build everywhere, industrial areas. The technology just evolves which I feel destroys very much. 1990's early 2000's was the best time. Now everything is so bleak.
It's so crazy to think about how much this city changed and how time goes fast. I love this city and I always will.
Me too
@@Mrcryptic504 it's always been ghetto :/
Time is crazy to me. 20 years is a long time but at the same time it's kinda not
Rialto has become corrupt and taken over by the mob

Wow Rialto use to be so empty and affordable. Price has really skyrocketed from 200k to now 400k for a 4 bedroom house
No the houses are up to 600-700k 😂
