As a classical guitar student, I'm more used to the classical sound. But god, I love the flamenco sound so much, hope I could buy one someday, it's hard because of exports limitations.
do you use your mom's name as a curse word? so why then do we use God's name in vain? we all are sinners, and the consequences of it are death. Our salvation comes only from Lord Jesus Christ, which suffered on the cross, died, and rose from the dead so that the punishment of your sins may be laid on Him, making you whole
Yes, that export sitiation has always been crazy, but now? We are slaves, we got no freedom at all. Maybe you can go to Portugal for holiday and buy one there? Your guitar case will be checked for drugs and things, but would the customs stop you and ask a fortune? For one guitar?
Some difference between the classical and flamenco is for one, size. Classical is wider from base to base, giving it more room to reach deeper frequencies. But with the larger width you'll find that the guitar will be quieter than a flamenco, also, because of the size of the flamenco youll be able to hear the atring much more individually than the classical guitar. Classical will tend to blend the sounds, guving it a warmer tone. Another difference is the string height. Flanco guitar's strings are significantly lower than classical.
Looks like you never adjusted your classical guitar strings, high strings have nothing to do with flamenco it's about playability, lower strings means smaller fingers range of motion for playing high notes which makes playability easier and more restful. I actually did lower the strings on my classical guitar as my classical teacher taught me and this is normally something we can ask to adjust when buying a guitar, and then that we slowly fine tune when we change the strings over the time. High strings are just a kind of factory mode so to speak. I personally lowered them to the point where I get a slight and short freeze on the first fret with the G string which is something we may look for when playing blues and more rocky music. My guitar is exactly set at the point where I get freezing with low tension strings and no freezing with high tension strings.
The classical has more richness and depth of sound. More low end, fuller mids...however the flamenco has the grown, cuts the mix more, and that's how it was designed
What’s the name of your 2 guitars? Please the brown one I want to know!!! The brown one sounds less good on a technical level to me but hits me deep like I could get goosebumps from it. It’s just so strong and powerful like a whiplash wow. But the flamenco sounds more interesting in the sense of listening to it closely if you’re teaching somebody individual parts. The brown one sounds good for an emotional performance other sounds good for like replaying things over and over again just to make the notes and melody heard.
Hey! Go for Yamaha C-40 I think its the best Classical Guitar to start with. And for the Rumba, techniques to be learned with slow motion fingerpicking and finger placing. For heartbeat style (snares) try to gradually implement thumps over strings in ending of the fretboard. Hope the information will be little helpful :)
Both are beautifully played by an awesome musician. The piece that was played sounds a bit nicer on a classical guitar. This is perhaps why the musicians and luthiers devised a Flamenco guitar (for non-classical pieces) that help in the staccato of some flamenco moves. Thanks for showing us the two guitars.
Years ago, I would’ve immediately gravitated towards anything that sounded deeper. I definitely prefer the sound of the flamenco guitar now. Just personal preference, of course.
It also depends a lot on the quality of the instrument. I’ve heard some Condes and Vicente Carrillo Flamenco guitars with the depth of a Classical guitar.
Both are good. What is the difference between the guitars? I thought the change was mainly on the strings and techniques. And, btw, since no one was singing that was not a song.
You know what brother mind nurtures what it is used to! You should have posted without mentioning which one is flamenco guitar and other classical . The results would have been amazing! Cheers!!
Honestly...i think it's totally up to the taste of the person... Flamenco sounds bit more humble, polite and "soft" to be precise... Where as the classical sounds more crisp and technical...
guys sorru for newbie question. but as on video you don't have to have flamenco guitar for flamenco style right ? is it ok to buy classical quitar for learning flamenco ? i used to play quitar eaelier but haven't learned flamenco style.
I really feel like the difference here is almost so small that it's really a preferential thing for the ears, when simply basing this on fair comparison, the only stark difference between the sounds, least to me, is the timbre of the woods. Flamenco guitar has a tighter, an higher tone as to where the classical has this billowing lower tone. Personally I'd layer em up and see how that sounds, bet they're complimentary to each other.
The classical guitar had more low and low-mid frequencies, which sort of drowned out the fast picking on the high strings. For this song I prefer the flamenco, because I feel the high notes cut through the mix better.
Putting in mind this peice is recuerdos del alhmebra by francisco tarrega the godfather of classical guitar this peice will never sound the same on flamenco guitar
In the flamenco the tremolo melts together smooth and gives an emotion In the classical feels more notes distance and resonance gives more clarity If that’s what the composer/interpreter are looking for Both sound beautiful
On the Flamenco guitar the highs are more articulated while the Classical is a bit more bassy but the highs are mushy. Flamenco guitar is better for this style.
I prefer the deeper sound of the classical personally
No.classical guitar sound is not soulful and musically. Midrange frequency in flamenco is something else. Clearer and better.
As a classical guitar student, I'm more used to the classical sound. But god, I love the flamenco sound so much, hope I could buy one someday, it's hard because of exports limitations.
Yeah i like both of em

I prefer the resonance of the flemenco guitar. The melody’s are much clearer.
That song is crazy!
What's this song's name ?
I think it might be La boca abierta by Daniel Fries
@@Temple_of_Passion thanks !
El Cielo...where I can find the tab, please? 😄 a perfect tremolo! Congratulations!

Hard to say, you are comparing a blanca to a negra. That tremolo favors a negra. May I ask where that piece is from? You played it beautifully.
What song is this ?

I play classical and prefer that generally, but flamenco is better on a flamenco guitar.
I'm a beginner wanna learn
Can you suggest a budget Guitar to start with
Also your rumba techniques ❤

He used a five strokes tremolo which is a flamenco technique.

Sounds epic classical for me wonderful playing
I always prefer the classical guitar sound❣️

Flamenco sounds more clear, crisp. And I didn't know these two existed and there was a difference. I'm a beginner. This is so cool
Classical! Definitely!!!!!
You know what brother mind nurtures what it is used to! You should have posted without mentioning which one is flamenco guitar and other classical . The results would have been amazing! Cheers!!
The classical is more bassy but the flamenco really embodies the sound of the Spanish guitar 🔥🔥
I enjoy the tone with the classical but Love the Golpe type percussive playing which would put a hole in a classical
Song Name?
“El Cielo” by the man himself
More resonance in the classical!
Flamenco Guitar 👍🎶
That fast is what amazes me
Honestly...i think it's totally up to the taste of the person...
Flamenco sounds bit more humble, polite and "soft" to be precise...
Where as the classical sounds more crisp and technical...
the flamenco one...more aggressiv and impulsiv

For me, the classical hits me so I go with the classical
Classical sounds amazing. You play beautifull tremolo❤
I didn't really notice any difference.
The classical guitar sounded a bit buzzier? Maybe?
My guitar is a flamingo. The same first. His sound on the heart💘
Both are beautiful
Flqmenco ❤ easy decision 😊
I LOVE you flamenco
Just only sound difference I love classical
flamenco ofc
For me, both are great, but I prefer the classical because it is more clear, deep and attractive⚘
This may be weird description but the flameco sounds warmer and the classical sounds sweeter
Are you kidding me? That classical guitar sounds sexy AF. It's so crispy.
I hear the difference now. I honestly thought they were the same guitar, just a different style of music. Like violin in Classical vs Country.
Classical❤
Blanco guitara Flamenco
I think the any flamenco will be better !!high quality builders
the brown one

The notes on the flamenco have more definition and they are clearer! Brings out the melody and bass better.
tremolo on flamenco sounds beautiful…

Both are nice, but designed for different playing styles. I prefer the classical, because I am classical student.
Classical 🎸
Tremolo is probably the worst technique to show the difference between a classical and a flamenco.
I don't agree.
What brand is the classical??
Classical projects more
What is the name of the piece 🤔
Classic bc of its more deeper vibrant sound
flamenco is my fav
Durring these times of Bidenomics the closest I can get to either is nylon ball end strings to go on my acoustic
I like the flamenco singer. But he sings great on the classical song.
HOWWW3!11!1!1!😊

Flamenco all day!

Lovely playing. The classical sounded phenomenal 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
