I was wondering why Logic 11 wasn’t showing as an update.. turns out i have been on os 13 for ages 🤦🏽♂️ it’s almost as if i never restarted my macbook pro.. all sorted it now 👌🏾
Hey KC, great video…really good walkthrough of new features. I think the session player aspect is a big let down and something I doubt I’d use, because I think it’s really weak, but agree the stem separator is amazing! Downloaded update a few days ago now that I finally upgraded from Intel Mac👍🏾. Stay blessed bro🙏🏾🙌🏾
Hey Ria, preciate the feedback, as always 🙏🏾 You’re right, session player is kinda weak lol, can’t see me using it much either, as it’s not really part of my workflow. Stem splitter is amazing - will definitely get a lot of use out of that. Nice 1 on the upgrade, what did you end up getting? Stay blessed too sis 🙏🏾🙌🏾
@@kcsounds you’re posting some great content, covering all the kinda things I am interested in. Lol…yeah I am confident that me and them session players aren’t ever really gonna get acquainted😂!! I really took a lot from your video re. Hard-drive space when purchasing your recent Mac upgrade and also learnt from my own personal experience of only having 512gb on MacBook Pro 2015, so i went for the M3 MacBook Pro Max, 4TB. Price was ridiculous, but I hope to keep it for the next decade (like previous mac)😂🙏🏾. Although, if I had gone for Mac Studio, I would definitely have opted for smaller drive and got externals like you did, which makes sense. But I really hated the limitations I faced on MacBook Pro when I ran out of space. So hopefully that will not happen for sometime. Every blessing bro🙏🏾🙌🏾
Thanks Ria, I appreciate that! Sounds like you made a solid upgrade. I wanna go mobile soon, so I can create music outside of the studio, maybe get some new inspiration lol. You’ll definitely get a lot out of the new upgrade - congrats! Stay blessed 🙏🏾💯
@@kcsounds Thanks and yes I can already see the benefits and no more frequent spinning wheel. I did have Mac mini before MacBook Pro 2015, but like you decided I wanted to make music outside of studio setting and I like the flexibility it brings especially when editing etc… as I can do that anywhere now. Think it will be a good move for you too. Every blessing bro🙏🏾🙌🏾.
Reason user here, Logics got some point of update thats better, but the most obvious is free update. Drum sequencing generation is stock in Reason however Bass and Chord generation devices dont come stock and cost of £160 plus the £200 upgrade price just for that alone.
Used Reason back when I 1st started producing - top tier DAW! I found it easy to make beats on their drum sequencer, but struggle with Logics. Hate when you get charged to update something you’ve already paid for, hopefully Logic won’t do that - £200 upgrade is wild. I did hear some talk about subscription based plans tho… I hope they don’t go that route either. Cheers for watching
@@kcsounds Reason used to be competitive on price vs other DAWs 11 had Lite for £99 standard for £300 and Suit for £500 same as FL Studio. From Reason 12 they scrapped lite and suit then increased the standard price to £400 and then introduced the £20 a month subscription. Anyone who buys the standerd has to pay about £800 to get the equivalent of suit 11 devices. Meanwhile they say they made a subscription model to lower the cost lol. They lost a many long time users after those ridiculous decisions.
What do you think of the new updates?
It’s awesome
Your tuitions are so good you’re empowering so many so thank you 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽🎤🎧🎧🎧
Thank you for the support. Means a lot 🥹❤️

Thanks for watching, my friend 🙌🏾

To add Reason 13 has no stem separation and Im annoyed about it.
That sucks! Do they still have Rewire capabilities? I vaguely remember using that with Logic, before I made the switch
@@kcsounds No Rewire, instead they made there instruments a VST Rack similar to Native instruments Kontact called Reason Rack that can run in any DAW.

I got it but can't take advantage of stem splitting or chroma glow cuz i dont have an M1 or above. Need to upgrade :/
Sucks how they force you into upgrading. Stem splitter is def worth the upgrade.
Cheers for watching
Still stuck on intel😔
I feel your pain. Don’t worry, all in good time 💪🏾
@@kcsounds wonder what the m4 chips will bring…
@@azerofficial Bet that’ll be crazy!
They need to update whit ghost notes they updated things no one will really used smh 🤦♂️
That’s true, didn’t think of that. I wonder if they’ll ever do it?
