Wait until the Bears roll out the Personal Seat License pricing.
4.B to play 8 games a year
and lose 6 of them
Not just 8 games ... goal is to host Super Bowls, Final Fours, College bowls, High school championships, soccer games, world cups, year round concerts, etc. The economic impact those combined events would have on our local economy is in the billions, well justifying any costs
Build this new stadium for the Chicago Bears dome for the super bowl and beyond.
Projected cost 4.6 billion actual cost will be more like 5 billion....and for a historically losing team, NO THANKS! Perhaps the Patriots with their historical record but as a taxpayer I'm not getting hit with more taxes, Illinois is out of control with taxes and getting worse. Retired this year with Indiana looking like the better option between fiscal responsibility and crime.
Bears have the 5th best record in NFL history with a .554 winning %. Their all-time record is 793-634-42. If this is too difficult for you figure out, that’s 793 wins, 634 losses and 42 ties.
@@seanman1231 From 2000 to today the Bears are 181-206 difficult argument to ask for 5 billion dollars. Their 5th best record you quote come from early history wins just about everyone is dead and don't remember. Let's face it you can't take tax dollars from people for a subpar sports team.
Another report said only 65k seats
Nice hopefully i do my thing in there one day
Will roof be bullet proof?
I need funding for a new house , I can only afford a 500k home but the taxpayers can give me another 500k so I can have a 1 million dollar house . Also throw on some tax cuts . Doesn’t make sense . Pay for your own stadium Mc caskey , ridiculous
Is Taylor Swift, Beyonce, and K-Pop artists coming and performing at your house, bro? Are you about to employ at least one thousand people to work at your house, bro? Can people tailgate on your lawn, sell found and memorabilia, and have a good time, bro?
If no to all of these things, then you can't compare an athletic facility to a private abode. That's just silly.
LOL Bread and circus
How about the NCAA Final Four (The Northern Pod for the Big 10)
I am a Chicagoan who is not a sports fan. I don't want to pay for this. People who love sports can pay for this. One more reason I want to leave Chicago.
For sure, the Super Bowl.
Won't happen. We are heading into an economic depression that will stop the construction.
Chicago has never been the greatest city in the world…..and has steadily gone downhill for at least 50 years, it’s the best city to be from.
your a jack A
Federal funding? Illinois can pay for their own stuff…
Federal funding is what we get for everything lol. Healthcare, CTA etc etc
@@damikey85 I know what federal funding is and it belongs nowhere near these stadiums.
Chicago Bears as a organization fucking sucks. Making the playoffs is a miracle. They have sucked majority of my lifetime. They could leave Chicago for all I care.
Go Bears! And take the Sox and Cubs with you.
The Olympic Games for the Upper Midwest.
As a tax paying citizen I support this spending
About time I get to see where my money goes too
Go bears
Friends of the Parks like to ruin Chicago, who are they, ok the Star Wars Museum, I kinda was on their side but the Bears!
Spoken like a non-taxpayer who lives in his parents basement
Have fun paying for it ... taxpayers. 😂😂😂😂
The next illegal camp.
Taxpayers hold on your going take in the a- s
Get out of toxic Chicago. Move to Arlington Heights.
