Wren really should do something about the delaminating doors. I can't understand why they haven't done it long ago.

Approaching the end of our awful experience with Wren. A year and a half of arguments, damaged supplies, replacements in worse shape and mucked up design elements. Getting a refund and being pressured to do the removal immediately despite having been repeatedly told well let them know when we have a date. At least weekly emails harassing his about dates.

I had a MFI- which most referred as rubbish- flat pack kitchen which lasted for 23 years ( and some units still look so good that I have put it in the garage) before we installed a Wren kitchen last year; so far it looks as good as new. We had some damaged units which were all promptly replaced and their quartz fitting service did make some damages to the sink unit which they're willing to replace. Our kitchen fitter kind of remedied the damage as we couldn't go through the hassle of taking the quartz worktop etc out and waiting for the refitting Everything crossed that it'll serve me for quite sometime . Luckily I hadn't heard about the *rubbish* reference about MFI or come across the most dedicated Wren complaints group in FB prior to buying both kitchens. FB group recommends DYI kitchen or local bespoke. I am not good at designing my own kitchen or had the time to visit their showroom up north. Bespoke sounds great but it'd cost a lot more than my current kitchen plus you'd never know the locals unfortunately could close their company down anytime hence there won't be any warranty for the much expensive kitchen. I would say trust your gut instinct.
I have a Wren kitchen and had the delaminating issue. However, my experience was positive. My kitchen was 9 years old. Wren replaced all the doors and panels free of charge. They also replaced 3 oven cabinets as they no longer made the doors in the sizes that would fit above my ovens. It did take several months before everything was delivered correctly. They also covered the cost of removing and fitting the new parts. So not all Wren experiences are horror stories.

Hi Kirsty, I used to work as a rep for new homes. The spec was always perfection when visitors came to show homes, but realistically it was never the case when completed. We look around show rooms for kitchens, bathrooms etc. all looking for perfection, falling in love with the finish and being promised the earth. Sadly very rarely this is the case. I have bespoke kitchen not from this company but how very quickly we get drawn in to the quality when viewing. Thanks for sharing x

What made you put in a temporary kitchen ?
How does the dishwasher with drawers compare to a normal sized dishwasher. I know people say the pro’s are:- you can do a short wash for a couple of cups/plates. But have you found any other pro’s to having this style ?
I love my dishwasher. I’d never go back to a standard one. I’m so use to filling the top and putting it on. Sad thing is in 5 years the price has gone up by £700 🤦🏻♀️
I say ‘temp’ we had it for 3 years. The kitchen was 1970’s , we couldn’t have put up with it for 3 years. We’ve now built a 12m x 8m extension so have a new kitchen. The kitchen has been re-used. The style was fine, it was the material that was shocking for finger prints.
I've have the same issue with de-laminating doors albeit that my kitchen is just over 10 years old. I was told by Wrens that I have a guarantee for 20 years but this doesn't cover the front and side panels as they are classed as accessories. I should've read ALL the terms and conditions:(
I'm a designer and salesperson at a kitchen company called Kutchenhaus, we hear lots of horror wren stories from customers who are shopping around. I've heard experiences of wren salespeople lying to the customer about things that should and shouldn't be done when it comes to kitchen design just to drive a sale. Word on the street industry end is that the company was simply set up to sell, so Wren is definitely a company to watch.
My in-laws have recently had a kitchen fitted by Kutchenhaus , different level of quality 👍

Are kids just paid £15 grand on a kitchen fitting appsulutely sh_te not worth the money loads of snags best thing was the quartz worktop honest save your money go elsewhere
