What did you buy from Wren for £5.6k because I went to see them last week (April '24) and for 16 units, they asked similar, around 18k for me. Units, Quartz worktop, integrated appliances. I assume you did not get the worktops, appliances or the Wren kitchen fitters from Wren? Only the units, doors and finishings etc? The Wren kitchen fitters were £6k to do a dry installation!! I would have had to get plumber, electrician as extra. I'm stuck now, can't afford a decent kitchen that is not DIY or flat pack.
You’re right, I had to get the worktop and the appliances elsewhere. With the quartz worktops, I would definitely recommend buying them from a more local supplier, 9 times out of 10 it’ll be way cheaper than what wren are quoting. And for the appliances you can check websites like AO. For a more affordable kitchen, it may be worth checking out DIY Kitchens, and I would always recommend that you find your own kitchen fitters too, preferably ones who can also do the plumbing and electrics 🙏🏾
After doing loads of research DIY Kitchens seem brilliant they are great quality from what ive seen and by far the cheapest out there but you will have to either put it together yourself or pay for tradesmen/women and there's only one show room in the country i believe hence how theybcan majorly cut costs, but i like how its so customisable to so im probably going to go with them for my new kitchen
DIY Kitchens is a great option, one I seriously considered (but forgot to mention in the video). Ahh that makes sense as to why they’re able to keep their prices so low!
@@michaelquadri I'll let you know how it goes still deciding but from all my reasurch they seem one of the best, good luck with the channel and getting that sponsor 👍
I went with Howdens for my new kitchen, but with hindsight, I should have gone with Wren. The quality between the 2 was very comparable but Wren have the option to finance which I wish I considered.
Yes I agree, the quality is very similar with both companies! & yeah, renovations can be so costly, having the option to spread out the costs can elevate some of the financial burden!!
Used Wren for the 1st renovation, now my builder got us a kitchen from Howdens for dirt cheap, like under 3k with a bunch of freebies too, that trade discount is crazy
Have you not got LNPG membership? I’m currently doing my first Property and I signed up to them for 250 for the year and I got a 74% discount on magnet kitchens. Also also discount for appliances and building materials. So far, it’s so good.
No, I never even heard about the membership until now, but it sounds amazing! I’ll definitely do some research into it. I hope your renovation is going smoothly 🙏🏾💪🏾
UA-cam algorithm brought me here and I’m sooo here for this. Congrats 🎉
Thank you so much 😁 Please let me know if there’s anything in particular that you’d like to see! 🙏🏾

What happened to the second hand kitchen?
It didn’t fit my space as well as I would have liked so I ended up selling it!
I wish this video was out when I was looking for a kitchen, would have saved me so much time!!! 👏🏾
Ahh at least you know for your next house 😂💪🏾
Great video Michael. I’ve been struggling with kitchen brands to go with. This was extremely insightful!

Wickes, London croydon - brilliant team of designers, fitters and installers!
Wicked Video - Which Branch of Wrens did you go, to get the excellent service?
Ahh thank you! I went to the Wrens in Lakeside 🙏🏾
Mine was 3200 from howdens flat pack I had to buy the appliances spent 1k on that 2500 to install
That’s very similar to how much one of my friends paid when she got her kitchen from howdens!
Great video!
Thank you 🙏🏾
Mate, try DIY kitchens, you will be surprised by the quality in comparison to the price 👍
