I don't think Lin gets enough credit for how much he pushes the ball up the floor once he gets the rebound and goes coast to coast for either a lay-up or gets fouled attacking the basket. He's a one man fast break, in the highlights he's blowing by everyone to get to the rim. The other players look like they are running in slow motion compared to Lin's Kung Fu Hustle super sonic speed. I love the circus shot with his left hand going 100 mph then doing the Air Lin spreading his arm out for Low-5's going into the team's huddle after the Nets called time-out when he made the basket. Nice Upload. Lin Position PG. He doesnt need to score. If his D is threatening, his freethrows is 90%+ and hits his 3s while open, he would be a monster and a nightmare of all teams. Now Lin has to create his own shots, thats why he isnt so effort some day. If he creates the space for other tough players like Batum or Lamb, they just need to kick it back to Lin and just catch and shoot or attack the rim. His role play can be like Nash or Stockton with the ability just like Pippen, who doesnt need to score but being the best player on the court that days
JL7's Defense was never gone just misused and buried by biased coaches. It's finally come to light again like in NY and Golden State days. Once his shots are falling again he'll be Lincredible.
