Ho hooooo... What splendid song craft. Lovin this guys vocals weaving through the bands confident and laid back licks. There's something about them that invokes early 80s Brit indie gods The Chameleons but with a ton of fuzz and overdrive rather than the reverbs that The Chams were famous for.
Also props to the engineer, Marius Costache. He's left space in all the right places and the vocals sit jus right while the big cymbals of the drum kit are not fizzing too much, rather being the accentuation they should be.
This would be great in a cheap club, friday night. Black walls and minimal light rig, ringing out over a nice clean system. Rock chics, Goths and Slackers swaying in a happy drunken stupor.
Fuck, i need translations of these lyrics from the Romanian.
I wish these guys had done a physical release.....i like me physical doo dads in me hands....plus i mighta got a Romanian to English lyric translation on the sleeve. ;)
