I mixed squeeze the day with a vendor cake scent. It was yummy. Stronger than scentsy’s latest cake blends. I might look for a good toasted coconut so I can have a kinda lemon coconut chiffon for my open concept.
@@PatriciaG-NosetoToes that's good to know! Thanks for the info, lol... This sounds wonderful to me. I've been kicking myself for putting one bar (Lemon Chiffon) in quarterly! I hadn't smelled it yet at that time, but how could I not know, really?! And I like lemony scents.🙄

Pina colada cha cha with sugared Strawberry. Yummy! I thought tropic nectar was a basic fruit punch. Hi Patricia! I started warming my tester of Raspberry Hibiscus Tea just before sitting down to catch up on some UA-cam, lol, and here you are! I can listen and warm at the same time! 😂 I definitely get more of the hibiscus when it's warming, on cold it's more raspberry. So far to me it's like if you replaced the pineapple in Hibiscus Pineapple with raspberry (at first I thought the raspberry from BRV but I think you're right, it's brighter like Rockin' Ruby Razz). Hibiscus Pineapple and BRV are top 5 favourites for me so I'm loving this one!! 💜 Lol! I don't mix very often, but my absolute favourite mix is a 2-1 ratio of Sugar Cookie and Toasted Marshmallow - I call it "White Chocolate S'mores" Hehe! The cookie and marshmallow notes combine really sweet like white chocolate and the smokey note is toned down a little 😋😋😋😋 So good!
I wish I could warm every wax in my bedroom to get a better feel for all of them. Not enough time in my week for that. Some of them end up being my best guess for similarities. Sometimes once I watch other videos I agree more with how they explained it or how they smelled it. I’m glad you found a new release that resonates with you this season!!
I mixed midnight fig with walnut raisin muffin. Makes it a less earthy concentrated fig smell. Sadly neither are in my club,. I would add just for this mix

Me too Patrice, not much on mixing yet but wanted to comment 😆. I did do Stitch 626 alternating with Pina Colada Cha Cha and it was yummy. I take elderberry syrup for immunity sometimes and it is very tart but also sweet. So the Raspberry Hibiscus Tea sounds good! Thanks for making Tuesdays more fun!! ☺️
That’s sweet Patrice. You are just the best. I feel like I rarely mix too, but I like hearing what’s worked well for others on the off chance I do want to mix. I just have so much wax to try still
You can also use elderberries to make sauces and syrups. :) I just had some at my sister's the other weekend on french toast. It's delicious! Also I'm glad Tropic Nectar got reviewed cuz I was torn between a few scents last week. 😅 I genuinely forgot about the March melting challenge x.x but I did recently mix Bubblegum and Candy Crave.. I find Bubblegum a little too.. offensive? now on its own, so Candy Crave mellows it out a bit.
Hi, I was kinda hoping that Raspberry Hibiscus Tea would be like a summer version of Winterberry Apple tea. Oh well... Unfortunately, I don't have any real star mixes. My experience has always been that the stronger scents tend to overpower the lighter ones. Maybe I can find a good one here...Have a good week.
Yea, Raspberry Hibiscus!! So cool that both of my votes won a place in the line up. I'm excited about all three fragrances, actually. I didn't get the early bird consultant kit so I haven't tried any of them yet. Raspberry Hibiscus sounds like it will smell like one of my favorite Celestial Seasons herbal teas from way back. It was Rose Hips and Hibiscus; then they changed it to Raspberry Hibiscus because the raspberry tea leaves were overpowering the rose hips. But it was gooooood stuff. Peace Lily sounds like it's gonna be beautiful...but fleeting. They might have done that on purpose. Tropic Nectar sounds weird...and thus exciting to me. Fabu job, Patricia. Lets see, an interesting tried and true wax combo... Well, actually I just did what is a new mix for me, but I will be repeating it as long as I can get a hold of each bar. So, this will be no surprise to Patricia...or maybe it will...I had four cubes of (dah dah) Persian Lime and Sandalwood and two cubes of Blue Hyacinth and I wanted to melt in my Accord warmer and use all three dishes. I put two cubes of PLS in one dish and put one cube of PLS and one cube of Blue Hyacinth into the other two. It was egg-sa-lent! I got the Pls scents first, smelling strong and luscious. Then later in the day the Blue Hyacinth came through and blended with the PLS. The Blue Hyacinth lifted the fragrance some. They just set each other off so well. So if you can imagine a delicate sandalwood with a hint of lime from the skin of the fruit and then a slightly gentle floral...it was really nice. Alrightie. See y'all next week. Blessings.
I found that I like Tropic Ne tar more longer through the melt. It got creamier fir me after about 12 hrs. I really enjoyed it. I’m picky about fruit punch scents too.
@@PatriciaG-NosetoToes pretty much not mine either- I didn’t love desert tropics, or a paradise punch or others, but this new one is better in my home than most!
It's time to go through some of my testers that are duplicates. My mix is totally out of season, but I really like it. Two different warmers in a small area... Half a tester of Jeweled pomegranate and the full tester of Very snowy spruce.
I’ve been mixing perk me up with Walmart’s brownie pecan pie cubes and crumb top with Walmart vanilla cookie crunch 😊 I take one full scentsy cube and cut one of the Walmart cubes in half and it’s the perfect amount to make both those scents a lot stronger.
In alternating warmers, I like to do Winterberry Apple Tea and Apple Butter Frosting. I have also been enjoying Ocean, Palm Trees and Ocean Breeze, and Lake My Day throughout the house!
I unfortunately don't have apple butter frosting however I'm going to try using st. Nickerdoodle in its place and maybe add a cube of cinnamon buttercream.
I drink hibiscus tea several times each week. It's just water and dried hibiscus flowers, no "tea" (ie, black tea, oolong, etc from the camellia family). RHT is on order for me, as I really like berry scents.
Hello all! Patricia, thanks again for yet another great review. I finally received my WB and so I now have RHT and TN. I'm anxious to try.. Just haven't yet🙃. I am so happy you asked for favorite mixes! I'm not good at it, aside from the very basic like sugar cookie with maybe a super tart one like berry blessed which I don't like at all. Someone mentioned the Lemon Chiffon with Dumbo and that sounds amazing only I love them both so much on their own so would be afraid to waste it, since I was so not thinking when I threw only one bar of Chiffon in my club...quarterly! Who does that?! Me! I mean it sounds heavenly and I enjoy lemony scents so what was I doing! Then someone else talked about toasted coconut to make the chiffon..genius! There are so many great mix ideas here! I would love to hear (or see) more all day long! One of my problems is that I don't have many of the bars mentioned here. I've started the sotm back up, not gonna pause that again. Never know what you can do with 8 bars of wax to mix with!l..so I'm gonna be off topic here a bit, but I decided to finally warm appletini and so I threw it in my open concept, I'm in the back bedroom and I can smell it! Like really smell it! And I think I like it. I wish I had found you much sooner, lol.. when I think of all the scents I missed with all you guys. This is a lot of fun and I especially look forward to Tester Tuesday every week! Oh and not to be weird but Patricia I love that top you're wearing with your eyes! Lol... They match perfectly, and with your walls and door! Haha! I sound crazy but I had to mention it bc it's so obviously nice! Thanks again! ❤️

Lol 😂 my husband tends to fry bacon or sausage when I put new wax in, and it kills the scent. I'm excited to try Peace Lily now 😀 I'm not good at mixing, but I took Melissa’s suggestion and mixed Blueberry Rush and Almond Croissant, which was lovely and long-lasting. I also tried her Hundred Acre Woods and Vanilla Bean Buttercream suggestion, which I had the same great results. 😊
My favorite all time mix is Hug in a Mug and Graham Cracker Crunch in the same warmer and it smells like s'mores to me. 🤤 Lately I've come to enjoy Baked Apple Pie and Cinnamon Buttercream in alternating warmers. @@kara5219-Krose_8 I hope it works for you! It was a total accident. I thought I grabbed VBBCm when I only looked at the last word. I don't recommend doing 1:1 in the same warmer. CB overtakes it instead of marrying with it.

I'm sitting this one out because I really don't mix my wax.... I'm too lazy! I did do the challenge though and mixed Staycation from Rainbow Melts with Banana Boat from Hayden Rowe, and I could only smell Staycation.
It's not strictly Scentsy, but I like squeeze the day with vanilla and cookie crunch (from scentsationals or better homes and gardens...can't recall which though.) I don't think I voted for it, but I'm actually looking forward to banana leaf bamboo.
@@PatriciaG-NosetoToes Not yet! It sounds like something I may like (things like flower shop were a little too green, but I did like sunburst bamboo) and I haven't smelled any of them yet so I'm looking forward to your review of it :)
I suggest starting small (literally!) Smell both waxes (one cube in each hand) together under your nose. If it’s appealing maybe take 1/2 a cube each and try in a mini warmer. If you don’t like it that’s ok because you’ve barely used any wax… repeat!
Oh man...idk what's going on with my phone, I'm on that this time, but I have two of my the same comments (more like short novel) on here. I went to edit and it got wacky on me. So I discarded it but now I see there are 2. I'm almost afraid to delete bc I don't want them both deleted. So please excuse it until I figure out what I'm doing..🙄
Tropic nectar is more like a very sweet syrupy fruit punch…slightly tropical in nature. Ruby Nectarine has fruit but also that special twist of the natural stems and hard to explain quality. Personally I much prefer Ruby Nectarine since it’s quite a strong performer too.
I mixed (Sparkling) Yellow with flash sale’s Grapefruit Orange in the same warmer and I’m in love and need more Grapefruit Orange. ;) I love Yellow anyway, but this brought it to life even more.

I unfortunately don't have apple butter frosting however I'm going to try using st. Nickerdoodle in its place and maybe add a cube of cinnamon buttercream.
I feel like Apple butter frosting makes so many bakery and fruity things even better
@@PatriciaG-NosetoToes it’s in my club but 1 per quarter is not enough. I hope it comes back in BBMB in the next year or so.
Happy Tester Tuesday! My favorite mix I warmed this week was Bayberry & Currant with Inhale Exhale every other warmer ❤❤❤
I bet your neighbours enjoyed that mix too 😜#doubleboomer
@@PatriciaG-NosetoToes and the bus driver too 😉
@@angelasmith5765 our “I don’t like scent” bus driver is gone …Drew’s at a new school now 👍👍
I drink hibiscus tea several times each week. It's just water and dried hibiscus flowers, no "tea" (ie, black tea, oolong, etc from the camellia family). RHT is on order for me, as I really like berry scents.
Good to know as what “tea” I could smell was minimal!
Thank you so much!!
Btw - what does WB stand for?
@@PatriciaG-NosetoToes Whiff box! Lol
Squeeze The Day & Oodles Of Orange is my fav.
Reminder for me to warm OofO soon
💙🍀 in the same warmer: #1 Cinnamon Bear + Sugar Cookie (I'm going to try the other suggestion of Cinnamon Bear + Vanilla Waves) 🤩 #2 Here Come the Sunflowers + Sugared Strawberry 🍓 #3 Lilacs & Violets + Sugar Cookie #4 Maple Rum Cake + Gimme Candy
Thanks for all the suggestions!
Three Thumbs Up x2, Sticky Cinnamon Bun x1, Vanilla Bean Buttercream x1... It is a powerhouse and lasts for a week, 24/7 in an open concept.
I don’t like Three thumbs up so I might try something like this (I’ll have to sub Sticky Cinnamon Bun because I don’t have that one)
It’s like they instinctively decide to stink up the house at the worse times
I have two…. Lush gardenia/coastal sunset and hundred acre wood/sugar cookie same warmers
I’ll definitely try the last one as I need to use up some of both of those
Another nice mix is Maui Mist and Vanilla Waves (same warmer) 😀
Thank you
In the same warmer polar bear and cozy cardigan
Oooooh….
Sorry it’s so late but my star mix currently is Soakin Rays with Coconuts for Coconuts
Yes I can see those mingling well - thanks James!!
Squeeze the day and vanilla waves - I discovered this incredible mix and now I have no more vanilla waves 😫 but if it’s in your club give it a try!
It’s not!! I removed it (cocky move that screwed me over I must say 🤦🏼♀️)
TROPIC NECTAR SMELLS LIKE THE RIND OF A NECTARINE. DIDN'T GET COCONUT MILK AT ALL BUT I LIKED IT
It had an intense orange citrus family vibe for me too
@Patricia Gaetz I LIKED IT. I WOULD DEFINITELY LIKE TO GET MORE OF THAT AND RASPBERRY HIBISCUS TEA
My favorite all time mix is Hug in a Mug and Graham Cracker Crunch in the same warmer and it smells like s'mores to me. 🤤 Lately I've come to enjoy Baked Apple Pie and Cinnamon Buttercream in alternating warmers. It's how I think Baked Apple Pies should be (with a crust!). All 4 of these I will warm but don't LOVE separately. 🤷🏻♀
I like when (some) mixes allow you to enjoy scents that may not have been standouts on their own
I struggle to enjoy Cinn Buttercream, but your mix sounds great! I’m totally doing this, thank you!
@@kara5219-Krose_8 I hope it works for you! It was a total accident. I thought I grabbed VBBCm when I only looked at the last word. I don't recommend doing 1:1 in the same warmer. CB overtakes it instead of marrying with it.
@@brandyday7055 I’m warming your recommendation of Cinnamon Buttercream in alternate warmers with Apple Pie for the wax melting challenge today, and IT’S AWESOME!!! It’s totally apple pie WITH crust, just like you said! This is perfect all year long, and I actually enjoy Cinnamon Buttercream now! So delicious, thanks again!!!
@@kara5219-Krose_8 I'm glad that mix worked out for you! Hopefully you put Cinnamon Buttercream in your club. 🤞
I didn’t get any tea. I got some We’re all Mad Here and Berry Blessed 😂 Nice because I have both in my club! 😂
Nice!!
I really like Lemon Coconut Chiffon alternating with Dumbo Circus Parade. 🎪
I bet that’s nice
I'm sitting this one out because I really don't mix my wax.... I'm too lazy! I did do the challenge though and mixed Staycation from Rainbow Melts with Banana Boat from Hayden Rowe, and I could only smell Staycation.
That’s the tricky part - mixing is always like a magic trick that you’re not sure will work out.
@@PatriciaG-NosetoToes 🙂
It's not strictly Scentsy, but I like squeeze the day with vanilla and cookie crunch (from scentsationals or better homes and gardens...can't recall which though.) I don't think I voted for it, but I'm actually looking forward to banana leaf bamboo.
Have you ordered Banana Leaf & Bamboo yet?
@@PatriciaG-NosetoToes Not yet! It sounds like something I may like (things like flower shop were a little too green, but I did like sunburst bamboo) and I haven't smelled any of them yet so I'm looking forward to your review of it :)
@@hannahhaddad9565 Sunburst Bamboo is what I immediately thought of when I smelled Banana Leaf Bamboo
@@scenteddragronflywithmichelle Oooh, sounds like good news for me then!
I haven't done any mixing yet! I need to try it! I worry it will smell horrible!
I suggest starting small (literally!)
Smell both waxes (one cube in each hand) together under your nose. If it’s appealing maybe take 1/2 a cube each and try in a mini warmer. If you don’t like it that’s ok because you’ve barely used any wax… repeat!
LOL I make my family use the air fryer outside 😂
My Non Florida climate ❄️ is not cooperating for outdoor air fryer just yet 🤣
Lol 😂
Oh man...idk what's going on with my phone, I'm on that this time, but I have two of my the same comments (more like short novel) on here. I went to edit and it got wacky on me. So I discarded it but now I see there are 2. I'm almost afraid to delete bc I don't want them both deleted. So please excuse it until I figure out what I'm doing..🙄
No problem…I can see the longer one
@@PatriciaG-NosetoToes haha..it's long too!
Patricia does tropic nectar smell similar to ruby nectarine trying to figure out what to add to SC
thx
Tropic nectar is more like a very sweet syrupy fruit punch…slightly tropical in nature. Ruby Nectarine has fruit but also that special twist of the natural stems and hard to explain quality. Personally I much prefer Ruby Nectarine since it’s quite a strong performer too.
I mixed (Sparkling) Yellow with flash sale’s Grapefruit Orange in the same warmer and I’m in love and need more Grapefruit Orange. ;)
I love Yellow anyway, but this brought it to life even more.
Grapefruit Orange is / was a good bar! I had it in my club briefly way back when
