it's hard to watch those two first karatekas :/ It's like they didn't know the concept of the "defense" :D They knew blocks from karate - but they are useless in that type of fight. So they got nothing to defend themself. But, most of the cases, muay thai or kyokushin fights are boring because it is all about who has better trained body. Who is more power and "durable". There are only few individuals who show some technicall skills or cleaverness (eg. Seanchai). When you see that he wins not just because he has more trained body - but his cleaver, smarter, have more skills. And that is - interesting to watch.

Most of vintage karate vs muaythai are fair
But karate vs muaythai today not fair for thais judge and referee alway japan , karate side if thai want to fight in japan they should fight with bigger guy or disadvantage or cut weight 10 pound uf not accept go home no pay many thai said on live
The title should have been : Kyokushin Karate vs Muay Thai. Taking all into consideration Muay Thai definitely better style..Kyokushin is not that bad and better than most Karate and the practitioners of this martial are as tough as nail. Ous !
I didn't even see Muay thai fighters here in the video unloading plenty of the killer elbow. Definitely Muay Thai is overall the better martial art.
@@ひろゆき二十一 there's no better martial art, it's the better fighter why don't Muay Thai fans understand that concept
No, the "title" should no be "Kyokushin Karate vs Muay Thai" . The first fight was between a Japanese Goju- Kai stylist and other fights were Kyokushin and Seido (Japanese based Seido, not Tadashi Nakamura's Seido Juku).
Andy hug is so so big.he look like boxer not kyukushin.
It's K1 kickboxint rules

무에타이가 이기는 영상만 등록하니까 재미없다
이미 누가 이길지를 알고 보는 영상은 매리트가 없네
오히려 무에타이에 대해서 반감만 발생한다
ambos artes marciales son wena
it's hard to watch those two first karatekas :/ It's like they didn't know the concept of the "defense" :D They knew blocks from karate - but they are useless in that type of fight.
🎉Thai Box 🎉
I love karate and Muay Thai only as good as the guy doing it in the circumstances on the day there.
Muay thai has slightly advantage over kyokushin karateka.
Muay muy superior al karate demasiada rigidez en los ataques en karate solo filosofía para practicar ..respirar y algunos variación del Ka son bastantes efectivas pero no del q peleó aquí ...saludos es solo una opinión...
Support you support muaythai 🥰🥰🥰
Waow keren sekali🌟🌟🌟🌟👍👍👍

Old days old tactics
muay thai lacks a bit of grappling, good landslides, it would be interesting to see muay boran fights.
There are grappling in old style but it got remove cus gamblers think it boring
it is worth notice that the only time karate style dominate the ring is when the karate fighter was European with significant size&weight advantage other karate fighters had impressive stamina and endurance but that is it
actually, as a MT lover and trainee, I must say there are still some techs we can learn from the other "fighting methods". Overall, Muay Thai is the best standing skills.
If you want to define the best "harmful" skill, I would say "buy a gun boy"... so be rational.
Karate is a "Balletsport" nowadays, where special clothings, special surface, is needed. Muay Thai on the other hand is still very close to what it once were and therefor superior.
Kyokyshin sparing are limited by rules. Because its the first karate style with full contact, while other style using limited or no contact, and the other only focus on kata back in the day. That rules made Karate as martial art so suck. Even Judo now restricted by rule; no leg grappling...what's wrong with Japan? Why they so rulesadict?
Wkf Rules is trash
You are probably familiar with those point fighting bs, but there are many styles of Karate. Go watch full-contact, shin karate, or kudo. Uneducated comment like this makes you look dumb af. As for Muay Thai, it’s not close to what it once was in the past. Modern Muay Thai adopted western boxing techniques and the style changed due to scoring method as well. You can lookup video of Oldschool Muay Thai vs Modern Muay Thai. The Oldschool Nak Muay sucked at punching….. All Martial Arts evolve, those that do not means it’s a dead art….
P.s. Im Thai. I practiced Muay Thai, Kyokushin Karate, Tkd, Jiujitsu, and compete in amateur MMA as a hobby
Only the best and true Muay Thai fighter are born in Thailand. Thai pride to all my Thais out there🥊🇹🇭🇹🇭🇹🇭
Fight 4 and fight 6 doesn’t look like karate
Katate is best
6.00 KO because big cut and broken teeth.. OMG
Im still waiting for Muay Boran to get challenged its the complete Muay Thai, other fighters wont even last a minute not even 30 seconds.
The last karateka did not look like karateka at all. There are many fake karatekas eh. They’re also beaten by other karatekas during sparring. They’re not well conditioned to take hits and complain all the time that you’re hitting too hard. True karatekas don’t complain when they’re hit during training
muathai has more real fight art, eventough kyokushin has strong spirit and power,
Notice how western win only when they have 3-4stone weight advantage…hardly fair rules…won’t find it in western boxing
in kyokushin it's imposible to develop good boxing fundamentals. the training and competition is too unrealistic and ridículous, if you put a kyoukushin black belt that only do kyokushin in a boxing ring against someone with 6 months of boxing training the kyokushinn will get destroyed, kyokushin is just a waste of time,
Muay Thai 👍👍👍👍👍👍.
Karete 👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎
I think Muay Thai has the advantage but this karate seems a lot better than a lot of the contemporary one
Karate no match with Muay Thai. Then the Japanese reinvented karate with Muay Thai kick, but no match with Muay Thai
@Owl Longbow
Yeah, you are right, the technic/ method is only one method to acheive your goals, other than that - experience, skill, your IQ, know the your opponent skill, etc are required tools to win.
No because Karate can defend & use takedowns, thai nerds can't defend getting slammed on their head if their children lives depended on it

The karate gut is not fighting karate. where are the karate technique of his. the muay thai have only one kind of kick. The karate guy does not even punch good. The karate combined muay thai and karate to defeat muay thai but other karateka defeated muay thai by karate style. Perhaps the karate guy must lost in order that Japanese kickboxing will be invented by him.
kyokushin always lose in muay thai that's why it is rare to see a kyokushin guy fight under muay thai rules they are so afraid.

May Thai giờ vô địch nhiều mà thời Quang Trung thua tan tác.
Fighting a kyokushin fighter without face punches means you are dead already!
Mura should have never been given the nod on that fight.
We all know Muay Thai winning 🏆… karate is good too but yea .. Muay Thai is better (my opinion) 8 limbs if someone knows both ! They’ll be unstoppable
Andy Hug never loose a match with muay thai fighter tell me about it.. its not about all glory if the muay thai is superior then that style will never looses a single match.. its not about just style but more over its the person them self..

since most of them challenge other fighters that is bigger than them self.. and in this case some of them challenge Andy.. and in any match Andy always takes on challenge regardless style, race, or title..
even Andy always been challenge by bigger even for a fighter in the super heavy weight..
and in this case that thai fighter who challenge Andy is consider one of the biggest and the strongest of thai fighter
