- Robert is Here Fruit Stand is a local legend in South Florida! Since 1959, Robert Moehling has been selling fruit from this well known location in Redland, Florida. Situated in an agricultural area on the crossroads to the Florida Everglades and the Florida Keys, just south of Miami, Robert is Here is a destination unto itself. Famous for its fresh, local, tropical fruit, outstanding milk shakes, and warm hospitality, there is more to this fruit stand than just fruit! Join me as I check out old airplanes, tractors, roosters, local delicacies, and more, in this off the beaten path Florida adventure.

I would always go there every time I would visit my grandparents when I was growing up in the keys they have the BESTTT honey and green tomatoes for fresh fried green tomatoes I loved feeding the donkeys and ostriches when you used to be aloud to back in the early 2000's!!!

These kind of out of the way places are my favorite and make me think of Anthony Bourdain:(. Such a fun visit and we will definitely need to put this on our list for our next Florida road trip!
He has been a personal (flawed) hero of mine for a very long time, so I appreciate that connection very much! One of the first things that drew me to his work, was his love of out of the way, unique, and special places and experiences, that the average tourist (or person) may not notice or experience. 💓

Great video. I need to try that fruit that is like cotton candy. Loved the old vehicles. Especially that Chevy. But if you were impressed by the boiled peanuts. Yes Georgia peanuts are good. The ones in Virginia are the best. LoL. Great work. Till next time.

I havent been there in a while but it seems like they have new machines there and nee planes unless I never paid attention. I definitely need to try the roasted peanuts and I didnt know they had cold coconuts. Great video. Your voice sounds good for these kind of videos. You should go to coral castle next. Ive never been there.

I actually went to Coral Castle this weekend to film a vlog and was told "no filming" so I left, very disappointed because I've seen so many other people make videos about it, and I've been going to Coral Castle since I was a kid!!!

Jackie is here!! That was absolutely awesome. Thanks for sharing the tractors especially the Farmall I love Old tractors and used to collect toy tractors when I was a kid. The Pirate coconut is a hot item, and I’ll take some honey and the popcorn! The orchids are gorgeous. This place is amazing. I will have to try a milkshake while sitting in the Sky master. The master of sky? lol it looks like a Ground master! Mango Banana Pineapple sounds perfect!Excellent video Super Enthused! I really wish we had more places like this in or around Orlando... There's a couple of course, but they tend to be a lot more touristy and focused on Citrus.
In Cleveland, you can go about 15 minutes outside of the city and start running into some Farmland, so places like this were a lot more common. You can buy fresh fruit that was actually grown on the property, buy maple syrup that was produced within 15 miles, grab a fresh baked pie, or take a tractor ride through an actual corn field.
The sights an and the smells of places like this are absolutely remarkable and I hate that I can't share that with my kids in a true form.
I wish, too! Maybe Orlando will get with the program one of these days. And hey, if you guys ever come visit Miami, you know where to go now! For all the history and heritage that Miami lacks, a 20-30 minute drive outside the city and you can be in farm lands eating fresh produce grown a few miles away! There are a few more spots like this around here that I want to showcase soon, one of them they allow guests to eat fruit right off the trees!

I noticed this over the weekend back home as well. Really the only stands I can find like this here in Utah are corn and tamales stands.
Back in Washington, it’s the same as in Cleveland. These become more common the farther outside of town you go.

When I went there today a mexican man in an old chevrolet drove quickly in the road next to the parking spot crash in a fence next door and somehow drove away , but I think he was drunk

I miss that place so much! Would go there all the time when I lived in Miami. Hope you got a chance to speak with Robert (@2:29). He's such a cool guy! And a shake with mango is what I would order every time. The freshness was unbelievable!
