The .45 SMG really is pretty fun to use, and even better once you nail on an Armor Piercing receiver and a compensator. The .45 ammunition is common enough wherever triggermen and Gunners reside. Biggest drawback is lack of armor, since you can't put Railroad Ballistic Weave on a zoot suit :( As always, thank you for your dedication. Finally someone is using automatic weapons. Whenever I see someone complaining about the combat in Fallout 4 they're always using semiautomatic weapons. Sure the DPR is higher but an automatic's DPS is double.
The problem comes down to DPS not mattering on higher difficulties and especially on Survival DPR becomes the dominating metric. Enemies are already bullet sponges, with full auto weapons you almost always have to use more bullets than the enemies are worth. Once you get a bleeding or explosive automatic weapon though, full auto is viable.

Already got the flamer and molotov vids ;)
Becoming Lord of the Melons by growing and harvesting them repeatedly isn't an exploit. It's completely intended gameplay, like leveling from building stuff.
I have an idea of a challenge, can you Command & Conquer Renegade without only the automatic pistol (vehicles can be driven but not used for combat)?
OH this is a awesome challenge!!!
@@InsaneFrame Thanks, hope it's fun.
I will respectfully disagree with the Melon business being an exploit. It’s just a game mechanic functioning as it’s supposed to.
Yes I think im agreement too :)
Not sure I would call selling melons an exploit. Not intended sure. But not an exploit
Can you beat fallout 4 as a minutemen? Aka flare gun call ins, artillery, general uniform only and lazer musket only?
3:38 you don't need the armour frame to take the minigun. i've always been able to just grab it without entering the PA.
It requires 8 strength we didn't have that so used the power armour instead :)
@@InsaneFrame oh... well how am i getting 8 str, i usually pull it at 6 str
@@InsaneFrame either way the minigun is completely optional and everything works fine even if you don't grab it
Have you done Fallout 3 using only the sawed-off shotgun?
Done fallout 4 but not fallout 3
A dapper playthrough you say?
Great vid
thankyou happy you enjoyed it :)
No ballistic weave from Tinker Tom?
minor spoiler but no we didn't as triggermen don't have access to that
I think it would have been fair to let you use a 10mm pistol and a baseball bat
Since this is a triggerman run, not a submachine run, anything the triggermen use should be viable
Me using the Thompson day of infamy replacer: would that count as the regular smg as it's essentially the same weapon just less cartoony
This video is Gangster lol
Hello cicero good to see you!
@@InsaneFrame howdy :D
@@cicerothenekoknightplaysall Always nice when you pop in and say hi :)
Ballistic Weave would have been really nice for you, I understand the real Triggermen don't use it, so that's why you didn't.
can you beat skyrim as the sole survivor, (bows = hunting rifle, firebolt spell = 10mm pistol)
When do you ever fight against 1 triggerman? It doesn't happen... ever. Decking out several companions as triggermen is obviously legitimate.
Would it have been against the rules to purchase Spray and Pray, but remove its silencer and put it on the Submachine Gun you were going to use for the run?
Final something new
Glad you like it :)
I wanna know if you can beat fallout 4 as joshua gram. I'm sure it's a mod somewhere.
Can you beat Fallout 4 as the Silver Shroud
the silver pistol does need a run of its own at some point :)
Didn't someone already do that
Can you beat fallout 4 with the ripper
Can you beat fallout 4 without going to diamond city
you kind of have to in order to see nick but it is entirely possible providing you use the power armour exploit
No ballistic weave?
None at all gives defensive values ;)
@@InsaneFrame that rough. I accidentally try that before. Autonactic cause a problem
Hello there
hello :)
Not finished the video yet but is ballistic weave banned?
No but it is not used
@@InsaneFrame i did a James bond playthrough and Leaned in Ballistic weave and a silenced 10mm
How about a run as a ghoul? If you can give yourself the ghoulish perks via console at the start. No stimpacks and Radaway allowed. Radiated meat is allowed, but only uncooked, no vegetarian food. Meele only, the brotherhood has to be destroyed at the end and diamond city can only be entered when your quests tell you to. I'd also say no cannibal perk but thats up to you if you wanna try
maybe I should try this. 4 days later: I love it
1st goodmornig 2 trigger mann have armor railroad ballistic fiber 3 can u beat a fallout of ure choise wiht 1 in evry special
Is fallout 4 this easy?
Yes and no it takes a while sometimes
You cheated in ammo -_-
The pistol is better
is the vault suit not a direct fail? because armor or make a escuse because no modding? 😬
Ure ä exploit same goas for technical data and mitfruit
Is it just me or is the video not playing
Its a youtube thing it should play in about 2 or 3 mins
Must you always be on 30% health or below??? Seriously you aren’t at full health for the entire video.
I'm going to be honest, if someone is going to restrict themselves to a weapon run, at least have the weapon look good. I haven't watched the video yet, but I hope that the SMG at least looks like the SMG from either MonkeyDepot's Thompson mod or the "Thompson SMG Replacer" mod
If I’m playing a triggerman I’m using gangster army and FCOM. Who joins a crew to not have a crew? Didn’t christofa say that in the sopranos?
We have to stick together, why be in a crew? Why be a gangster?
