Pros: gay gacha game with actual risqué male characters, a nostalgic dated art style and music to match. Seems decently balanced and there's actual strategy with how characters work. It's not a complete copy of Arknights and the skills and Nature/talents of characters is genuinely interesting and fun to play around with. Cons: lots of bugs and glitches, story is pretty much surface level generic and boring with only the gay stuff to save it, characters have quite little variance in design and splash art is very meh, skills are boring and so are the animations, battle is hard to play well as you can't do pause select stuff and attacks of characters dont clearly show where they go (i thought a medic was a caster for hours till i found out theres a section in the upgrade menu that shows what the characters do), pixel art while beautiful is very cluttered and messy, environments lack variance and are very ugly, poorly optimised (consumes battery oddly fast but has long load times, bad frame rate and UI and gameplay feel choppy, no proper tutorial and the way stuff is displayed is unsatisfying, less QoL, everything is just a worse Arknights, same gacha rates as Arknights but VERY stingy and while free units can complete most stuff the free stuff is rather boring and requires some more investment, can't easily reroll, no auto deploy - only skip tickets which sounds good but they're very rare. I'm still playing though. I'm gay and I enjoy games with a splash of gay. Will I play it for years on end like I'm doing with Arknights? Probably not. It's enjoyable but just enough that I haven't immediately left. But I'm having a decent enough time that I don't just immediately want to quit so that's something. There's a TON of gold and battle record farming though like Arknights but since there's no auto deploy it is a bit unbearable. I'm only excited to farm so I can 'e1' my units and see their new splash art (spoilers: a lot of them are disappointing). 5/10 decent game, enjoyable but very rough all around. If you want an actual polished gay game with actual good story and can sacrifice tower defense for a higher strategy Destiny Child, try NU:Carnival, warning that it is VERY stingy though. Less grindy with the small stamina cap and has a fair amount of free skip tickets but you need to grind for weeks on end to make noticeable progress later on.
