Not saying hes a better player than Dani because he has a lot to live up to to reach his success but Dani also had much much better players around him than Joao does (both defensively and offensively). As a Madrid fan im jealous yall got him. Carvajal is getting old and Cancelo is the perfect player to replace him to maintain that same element of overlapping dani provides

The only team he's probably really loyal is Benfica, and that's the team I support and who knows he's going to return a few years ahead as Rúben Dias, Félix or Bernardo Silva.

Great fullback and definitely feel Barca should be more interested in keeping him past the end of his loan than they currently are. It’s also fun to see the trivela become more widely used in the game today. It used to really just be Quaresma who would attempt it, now players are realizing how effective it can be if used properly.
