  • The end is within sight and the last field is started. So much going on here, with hedges, roads, ditches and the lake, it's been hard work for a relatively small field!

Tim, a word from the wise. If you are so tired that you are falling over your own words then you are working too hard and need to stop now. Your mind and body is trying to tell you something; listen to it. You sound not only tired but fed up. The rest of us can go a week without demanding you make a video.

Hiya mate.. been watching your videos for a while and love everything you do.. however I've only just remembered I'm a metal detectorist and I enjoy asking for permissions 😂 I'm based in Nottingham but if it was something you'd be interested in I'd love to come down for a few days/week or so and see what we could find. Also be a nice addition to your content.. and if not then please could you do some and record it please? Keep up the good work, life and content ❤

Tim - two things that need to live in the back of the truck - chainsaw and wire cutters!!

All of that is in the truck like normal, just happened that I had to use the car that day as I was on the roads, typical 😫

If you wanted planning for 300 houses you'd get that no questions asked. That's a lot of council tax revenue. £2000+ per house. 💲💲💲

A lot of time and resources invested in this fence and hopefully it will repay in the future.

You deserve more than a cuppa after that, a few pints from that brewery you picked up the spent hops from would help! Luckily no trees fell anywhere on the new fencing. Great job as always..

I have a 2005 Discovery 3 on old GG AT tyres. It’s surprising how much more grip you get when lowering pressure to 20 psi. The flex seems to push the mud out the treads. Not a long term solution but if you get stuck, worth a try.

Yeah lower psi definitely helps with the truck but new tyres to fit to that this week. I’ll sort disco tyres out at some point but makes sense to wait until next winter as rarely used off road at the moment.

I know, crazy isn’t it. Apparently it saves resources. 🙄 Thankfully we have a dialogue at the moment so still a slim chance.

Hi all such a lot of work involved with making your boundaries secure for your life stock , which must apply to all farmers country wide . This must equate to thousands of miles of fencing throughout the country . Yet we take so much of this for granted , even with government grants it still must present a major headache for many in the farming community . We have all much to be thankful for those who tend the fields that put food on our tables . Yet some would denounce their existence , shame on them and their misguided actions . So bless the keepers of the soil and all those who trust in their wisdom

I’ve got one , and yes it comes in useful sometimes but owning one isn’t going to change your working life , so if you can’t afford one or will use it only very occasionally don’t beat yourself up over it

Gate at 9:12 , how's that going to work now? Great work on the fencing , some effort getting that done solo 🎉

It’s not. Hedge to go in to join up. It’s a relict from when it was all one farm. 👍
