      Also, they've put わ in the "I" column and を in the "U" column. What's with that?

      There are several factors in teaching yourself to understand Japanese . One resource I discovered which succeeds in merging these is the Fergs magic blueprint (google it if you're interested) definately the most incredible treatment that I have ever found. Look at all the extraordinary info .

    This was very helpful. When she was explaining the pitch accent, I couldn't help but think "It's leviOsa, not levioSA" from Harry Potter XD

      Robin Johnson
      I think Hermione was trying to say it's not LevioSAR lol. Because the British accent removes the R. When they stress the SA it's like they're adding an R or something.

      It's kinda similar, except English is a stress-accent language, so the difference in leviosa is a stress difference, not a pitch difference. Japanese is a pitch-accent language, so what differs is the pitch, not stress. Different, but to our English ears, it's very similar.

      YES I heard this many years ago that Spanish and Japanese have a lot of similarities! My old Japanese manager lived in Bolivia for only about a year so he's quite fluent in Spanish, but even though he's been in America for probably 3+ years now his English is still pretty bad. Go figure! Now I kind of wish I took Spanish in high school to help with my Japanese pronunciation lol

      I guess it’s English that is weird? For most of us, it’s just A I U E O. But in English, it’s somehow become Ei, Ai, Yu, I, O while pronounciated completely different when they’re integrated into words.

    After carefully listening to many Japanese teaching videos, I think there's one thing that Japanese teachers don't usually explicitly teach is that some Japanese characters, when spoken, behave like English, i.e., their pronunciation will be linked together to form a singly continuous sound. Like the word blue, in Japanese, you don't separately say "a", then "o", but "ao" together. We Chinese need to know this because in Chinese, one single word makes an explicit sound that's not linked with other words, and initially I thought Japanese is like this. However, after battling through many Japanese videos, I've now found that Japanese spelling is in fact partly similar to English.

    Some missing things. How to pronounce the syllables with “y” sound like “Ryo”. English speakers often pronounce as “riyo”. Also, pronouncing “ん” and “n” is different. When using pronouncing “ん” it is also counted as same timing with other hiragana. the length “San” when pronounce in english and Japanese is different. さん is two mora while san is one syllable.

    • @1Jasmin
      @1Jasmin 2 роки тому

      It is a UA-cam video. Good lighting does a lot for you plus you can put a filter on the video that smoothes your skin out naturally. Also don't forget there is makeup. What is furthermore important is good genetics. You can have beautiful skin but have a terrible skincare.
      But what you can do is:
      sensitive cleansing oil/gel/balm (no alcohol or parfume), sensitive cream (no parfume or alcohol) and SPF 30 or 50 (no parfume, in this case you can tolerate a little alcohol). That's a basic routine.
      You can add niacinamide, azealic acid, retinol/al, retinoids, ceramides, chemical peeling (AHA, BHA, PHA) attention a SPF is mandatory when using chemical peelings!
      If you need good tips you can follow for example Dr. Dray on UA-cam and Instagram.
      If you have questions you can also ask me 😊
