Thank you. It is refreshing to dive deep into Lofi field of music. I've been listening to and producing house music since school. Tight EQs, hi-res samples, hardware' swings are pretty much default. Watching your videos: you use just built-in filters to cut highs or lows, record your own samples on the fly, use hand drawn patterns, move notes off the grid. It is super interesting to watch. Thank you!
spilling all the gold!!!!! thank you for these videos man, really helpful, personally i enjoy making and listening to sleepy music so much... gives me a sense of relaxation
You’re such an inspiration to me! Lunar Drive has played on repeat for soooo many hours in my house! Chilling, putting my kids to bed, studying. I just bought a new guitar and am getting into playing again after years and my first goal is to pick out those badas$ riffs 💖
Great video, I notice you stack reverbs in a chain. I find my sounds, guitar especially sounds messy when I do this, even if I remove the sub 150 hz. Any tips for this?
Cant speak for mondo, but when i do it on a send i keep the first half dry/wet, and the length fairly short, but with a decent predelay. The second is basically just softening it, with full wet, but a longer tail. I never put it directly on the instrument track
Really helpful video Mondo as my current projects are very much in this style. The one thing i struggle with the most is trying not to shred on guitar too much lol. I never thought it’d be so challenging to be “chill” lol.
Nice video 🖤 I feel like so much of what gets rotated on Lofi Girl uses the same Native Instruments or similar sample packs. I hope more people watch videos like this to be more original or the genre will fall flat on its face.
Hey Mike! Not sure if you saw my jazzy video but I picked a winner for the competition in this vid and you won the Valhalla plugin! Congrats! Could you please contact me via mondoloops@gmail.com to sort the prize
recently i've been very fascinated by the lap steel guitar. i've heard it a lot in productions by WYS, another lofi artist. it's so cool to see that you've recently started playing too! lovely vibe
I think I struggle with this alot in my own productions, as a lot of my music is quite minimalistic and perhaps boring to some. Thanks for showing ways to improve on that!
This is definitely similar to Lofi Fruits, specifically Bauke Top (the main producer who made 99% of their tracks)... I would disagree they're boring or minimal. I love their stuff. Could you do a breakdown on how the Fruits tracks were/are made? I know Bauke said in a podcast that he used Logic and a Nord, as well as a real bass and guitar, but I have no idea how he did his drums, or any specific plugins he used. Thanks, Mondo!
Love to fact someone FINALLy brought up Lofi fruits
Wow, this is so beautiful. Really appreciate your calm and transparent way of sharing your workflow. Love your music
I started making lofi 1 year ago, your tutorials help me so much to make better tracks!
Ayy glad to hear it, Thanks for watching :)
Great vid, hope more producers can experiment with Sleep lofi!
Amazing how versatile Lo-Fi can be, music to chill to, study to, and sleep to! 💤💤💤
Truly love everything you make from music to videos, a staple to the lofi community for sure
Ayy means a lot, thanks for watching!

I love this channel!!
Brilliant. My favourite part was the laying out of the 3/4 pattern. It’s rare to see music made like this for me, a real eye opener 👍🏾
Thanks man! Something about the 3/4 really gives the slower tracks a great groove!
@@MondoLoops I wonder why that is? it's like it no longer feels slow... mind-warping magic 😁

@@solo4227 ohh sick! Really fit the track beautifully on that one!
Do you have any suggestions where I can find a sub kick like the one you used in this video? Awesome video as well Mondo!
Hey man, think this was from my last sample pack dreamy lofi vol 2, mostly all I use atm!
Which vocal generator plugins do you use?
Smooth

Ayy congrats man, nice one to be in defo picking up tracktion !
I've been thinking about adding a lap steel to my collection. Which one do you have?
Hey, mines a Gretsch 5700 - seems decent value so far but there really wasn't many to choose from tbh!
real good content man! whats the name of the "hand percs" instrument that you got in your hand 12:37 ? :) keep it up
doesnt look like drumsticks
Hey Felix, thanks ! This is a little shell shaker thing, I think they are called toco or bendo shakers but not sure on that - but really nice sound!
Hi, Can you make another video about mixing lofi music? like more accurate? Have a nice day
Hey man will defo make an updated mixing vid soon!
Sounding like a Purrple Cat track with the slide guitar
Love Purrple Cat, She's made so many consistent beauties!
🔥🔥🔥
I've always wondered how you got your name if you wouldn't mind sharing
❤️🎧
👏🏾
Lofi Fruit just slow the lyrics and music down, add a drum loop and some rain and call it day. There's 700 covers this week 🤣
