Colton McKivitz is not aggressive, or fast and is undisciplined to play offensive tackle. A marshmallow of a lineman. Brendel gets pushed around by rookies and is much like McKivitz. Why are these two still on the team. Bad lineman produces injured quarterbacks.

I am reminded of the famous line from the Dirty Harry movie that goes "A man's got to know his limitations" when it comes to Kyle Shanahan! He can NOT call the right plays to close out games when the team is ahead with few minutes left in the game! And Kyle is the one who put Ronnie Bell into the Rams game!

Nugent Puni Burford center to right tackle. Burford played left tackle in college he had 2 years of experience on the right side of the offensive line offensive line. Mckivitz has been terrible at pass blocking.
I like how Raj kept it real saying the Niners did have all their weapons against MN when I dont know Larry was saying. Houston had no run game. they on their 3rd rb who is terrible. I think thats part of the reason Bengals are struggling they miss Mixon.

I'm a 49er fan that lives in Houston. Texans' fans aren't talking about Brock Purdy in any way. They are not diminishing him to try to boost up CJ. Why is our fanbase worried about CJ?
We're not worried about CJ at all. Others are saying CJ is better, and he's not, so we make the stats comparison. Some say Dak is better, so we compare their stats too. If you think someone is better than someone else, where's your proof?

Joe Burroughs has taken Gincinnati to the Superbowl and won, defeating K.C. Chiefs. Brock Purdy has taken the 49ers to the Superbowl and lost, losing to K.C. Chiefs. Papa Kyle, Purdy & team have been dealing with recurring issues relating to injuries. Joe Burrows was injured last year. In defending Purdy, it's not too classy to imply that he's better than Joe. The latter never had the offensive tools available to Purdy. One of the problems with the 49ers is the orientation of the top decision-makers. Neither Kyle nor John appear to be "head cosch" material. Kyle appears to be primarily interested in pass receivers and schemes to get receivers open. John Lynch is primarily interested in DBs & to a lesser extent LBs. Staley is brought in, and his primary interests is DBs, apparently. There is no one focused on improving the whole team. In the Kyle & John show, the team is not symmetrical. The 49ers are like a man with huge arms & legs but a modest, if that, torso. The team isn't shaped to be truly strong. It seems clear that Kyle & John have a vision of the 49ers as a "family," rather than a team. "Family" organizations tend to have favorites. Favoritism is a rot in the body of the organization. A real head coach will have a focus on the improvement of the team. The real head cosch would have no tolerance for vain players who refused to attend meetings, exercises, practices and camps that were meant for the whole team. There would be little tolerance for players who arrive at summer camp in poor physical condition. The practice squad would not be a holding pen for "player projects" or "likeable but ungifted" players. A real head coach should be able to recognize things such as hood players with harmful friends or entourage. Here I am alluding to people who constantly hype the player, telling him he's the best but not being paid "chump change." An athlete with a bad set of friends should quietly be put on the trading shelf. And there should not be a sense of obligation to an aging player who is paid too much but who wants more and who absences himself from Spring and Summer training. Such players should be traded, regardless of past excellence. The major part of the Kyle & John Show was focused on: "This is our year to win the Superbowl." They stocked up on pricey ammo, warheads and bombs, neglecting to stockpile artillery pieces, missiles or bombers. In other words they paid little attention on building up young, strong, healthy O-line & D-line players through the draft, etc. Both crucial areas of pro football were consistently ignored.
I come to this issue from an old base of watching the great Bobby Beathard obtain the players who became known as "the Hogs" for Joe Gibbs. Incidentally, Joe Gibbs came to the Redskins from Air Coryell created by Don Coryell at San Diego. Hence, he had an offensive orientation, not unlike Kyle Shanahan. However, Joe could think "team," while that part of Kyle's brain has substituted "family" for "team." The twin football ills of partial team emphasis and supposing that "family" is better than "team" (or even a better form of "team") have harmed the 49ers. Yes, with all the very capable receivers which they have, they will consistently have winning records. Superbowl win? Not likely. However, miracles happen. Building a good team is a sounder route than building a flashy offense.
