If she blamed Chris Candido as for where she is today, then that tells me everything I need to know about her as a human being. Life is a culmination of the choices we make, her choices brought her to this point. While serving her sentence, she’ll have all the time in the world to think about all the bad choices she has made in her life that brought her to prison. And with that, something tells me her mental health will spiral even more and she won’t even make it to the 85% minimum she has to serve to be eligible for early release/parole. It’s a sad story all the way around, but I have no empathy or sympathy for Tammy Sytch. RIP to Chris Candido and RIP to Julian Lasseter. I can't begin to say how angry it makes me that mental illness is the new cheap buzzphrase to be passed around in an attempt to rid oneself of any personal responsibility. It really it a spit in the face to those who do struggle with issues out of their hands and on top of that actually make an effort to get better and live a normal life Tammy on the other hand was given too many chances and didn't learn her lesson.

    • @johnselwitz5362

The thing about Tammy is not only is she a vile, detestable human being, but she’s also a narcissistic sociopath. I seriously doubt she’s actually sorry about killing this man, but even if she is, she is WAY more sorry about her current situation and that she now has to face some serious consequences. Her track record tells that story, and the statement she made from 3:34 to 4:11 of this video hammers it home. She’s once again asking for a slap on the wrist, so she can be released and “educate kids on the dangers of drunk driving and not treating mental illness”; give me a break. She probably believes that she can talk her way out of this situation. As far as her blaming Candido and mental issues for her behavior, that’s what people like her do. When they’re backed into a corner, they will do anything to avoid being held accountable. Anyone with half a brain could see right through it and I’m glad the judge did too. She can rot in prison for all I care

Tammy took a plea. Which means the time in prison would be more but the state and her attorney worked out a deal. Now, Tammy wants to appeal. I would drop the plea and give her life without parole. Then add in the Pennsylvania and New Jersey cases. Never let her out of prison.

You're right Solomonster, I don't recall Tammy ever suffering from concussions at any point during her wrestling career. I don't remember her ever taking any bumps, and the fact that Tammy has to blame her dead boyfriend Chris Candido for her actions proves how much of a lowlife she really is. So yeah, that's no excuse.

Not because I like his rants, but because every week we _hadn't_ gotten this video, that *is* bad news, because that means there would be a chance Sytch gets off the hook easy. This is wholly good news for everyone but Sytch - someone who has, over the past two decades, been an accident waiting to happen, that finally ended up causing said accident, and had never shown any sign of remorse, guilt, or even acknowledgement of wrong-doing with all the times she's been arrested. She was posting on social media, almost arrogantly, immediately after this incident. The good news is that for a minimum of 14 years, there will be one less careless, selfish drunk driver, who can be arrested over a dozen times and never learn a lesson or change their ways, on the streets, being a danger to the public.

She was locked up for years before the deadly crash in Volusia County. What do you want? Life without parole for drunk drivers who land in a ditch and only hurt themselves?
She was "put away" for most of the last half decade. In two states, Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Are judges supposed to determine sentences with a crystal ball - or based on what people _might do_ in the future? Nice Philip K. Dick nightmare you seem to want to live in!

If this case didn't warrant the max sentence I don't know what does. In my opinion there should be a 3 strikes rule when it comes to cases like these. You get caught the first time you get points, a fine and whatever. Second time you get a 6 to 12 months jail term. A third time you should have a 4+ year jail sentence without the possibility for parole and banned for driving for life. If a fatality is involved then a term between 17-25 years.

She's still looking at eleven years for unlawful possession of a weapon and terroristic threats in New Jersey for that time she threatened her former sugar daddy/boyfriend with scissors, I think. Plus several open DUIs.
I don't know if she still has charges against her in Pennsylvania that weren't covered by her year in jail there. It's so hard to keep up with all of Tammy's legal problems, it just becomes a blur after a while.

Nail in the Coffin; Tammy Lynn Sytch/Fytch is being buried alive, just like a classic/vintage (Under)Taker match. She's had so many chances to do a detox and join a rehab clinic but kept on getting in too many DUI/DWI cases: a repeat offender. a Lost Cause. Tammy is beyond help/repair, that needs to be put on a strict leash. I feel bad for the victim's family. The 75-year old man, Julian Lafrancis "Fran" Lasseter, seemed like a nice guy, that tried to help a community (helping homeless people), via a church. No more Sunny Days for the Lasseter family. I can imagine Fytch saying something like "I plead insanity," and then she might end up be transferred to a psychiatric ward (a "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest (a 1975 film)" asylum), while bound in a strait jacket and being placed in a white room, at any state hospital (like New York City's Bellevue, the U.S.'s oldest public hospital; est. 1736 / the 18th century; credit: wikipedia). "Cuckoo's Nest" had starred: Jack Nicholson, Christopher Lloyd (from the "Taxi" sitcom), Louise Fletcher (the villian, Nurse Ratchet), Will Sampson (as the Native American "Chief")
