Thank you so much, Lyza. I've been dealing trying to make a nice hat. You are an amazing teacher!!!!! I loved it. I hope you can make one tutorial of Pamela Hat. Great talent.
You made in very easy way, I really liked it, and also I made this hat, I m not expert in crochet, but I have so much interest in crochet, and also made easy for me, thank you so much
Lyza, for the past 45 minutes, you have given me the opportunity to experience such a moment of sheer, precious joy...!!! And peace which, for me, means so very much...!!! I have no words to express how I feel at this very minute after watching you crochet this beautiful hat you have carefully and lovingly suggested to all of us...!!! Muchas gracias por tu bondad...!!! Would this be available for little girls say, 1 to 5 years old...? And how to start this with 18 stitches and where you begin to increase 1 hdc in the next st and 2 hdc in the following st...? You know, like leaving a round space at the top of the head...? And/or at the start of the brim...? Pls. forgive me but I have a long-ago memory of a hat I once wore... I already have two balls of off-white Peaches and Cream cotton yarn and perhaps you can spare a minute to help me... Regardless, thank you again... I love you...!!!
Hello there, Yes you can make it smaller by making a smaller flat circle. Begin with 9 hdc in ring. Rnd 2: 2 hdc into each st around. =18 Sts. I recommend, to begin in round just chain 1 loosely. Then for the join, slip st tightly in first HDC. For round 3: (Hdc in 1, 2 hdc in next 1 St)-repeat around. Round 4: (HDC each in 2 sts, 2hdc in next 1 St)...increasing 9 sts in each round...Also into the brim increases 9 stitches.Always feel free to ask. Thank you so much.
You can get your flat circle diameter measurement by dividing head circumference by 3.14 then minus .5(for fitted fit)...Ex. if you need a hat that fits 21 inches head...Head circumference is 21 divide by 3.14 equals 6.69 then minus .5 equals 6.19..Your flat circle need between 6inches to 6.25...I hope it helps.
Lovely hat; however when I made mine, it wasn't as rigid as yours. Not sure what I've done wrong? Tension maybe? The brim just seems a bit too loose where it should be going out from the head.
Your instructions are very good thank you for sharing your experiences. I just wanted to know what are the washing instructions and care for the hat considering you glued the trimmer wire?
hello your hat this cute you can tell me where I buy the carry the trimmer lineno where to get it I'll thank you if you tell me where they sell it I hope you answer thank you
@@bihpamela3416 it's probably the yarn thickness and hook size :) if you're using a really thin yarn, try doubling or even tripling it, or just use a thicker yarn (i don't remember what she used but it should be good) she does show measurements throughout the video, and those are really good for checking to see if your hat will be the same size !!
Beautiful, simple to follow pattern.....thank you for sharing....
