Worms battle island was my first favourite game. And it's the only I completed and stuff. It was my favourite. I have played some others but don't remember being able to play so much. Battle Island is the game I actually remember.

Worms Armageddon is still the best, even after so many games. The graphics are so clean and well designed, the large ammount of weapons available, and all the game modes (mission, trainning, deathmatch, versus) and many languages available. They still were not capable to make a Worms game that is superior to Worms Armageddon
If we are talking about 'release day version' of games, then yeah. Otherwise W:A has been updated FAR more than WWP and surpasses it in pretty much every way.
I remember finding Worms 1 demo on a CD from some magazine in 1996, immediately fell in love with this game and spent hours upon hours of playing this with my friend even though it was very limited.
I was soooo addicted to Worms 4 Mayhem as a kid. I never understood, why they never made another 3d Worms. Only know now that it got backlash back than wich I truly do not get. A few years ago I found Ultimate Mayhem and it was also still fun to play. I hope one day they give 3d another try, and this time with a lot more themes like in Armageddon 2 or reloaded. (Armageddon 2 was also good, and World Party back than). Later on they can use the same 3d game and make it 2d with similar themes, weapons, hats etc. Might also give WMD a try myself

The problem with this series is that almost all of the games are more or less identical. It's like the Madden series. Biggest difference is that some games are 2D and others 3D, but each type looks the same game to game. Sure, each game probably has some different weapons and types of levels, but so what? You're still basically buying the same game over and over again.
