Before we even hit the exit to Hershey, PA where we saw them, people were yelling "fuckinn Slayerrr" out their car windows. People at the show had t-shirts on that said the same thing. It was amazing, just when I thought they couldn't possibly sound any tighter or faster, they took it up to a notch that I didn't know existed. 😳

Also, all i am pointing out is that there are many better breakdowns and hefty riffs in older log songs. Beating on deaths door, Blackened the cursed sun. Hourglass, blood of scribe, purified just to name a few. I think they went down hill at sturm und drang

I stumbeled upon a video called "Six Feet Under - The Rotting (OFFICIAL VIDEO)" and it has almost 50% dislikes. You cant even tell they changed drummers. Ive been listening to Lamb for a long time, I know almost every song by heart from the old albums and they still make the grooviest groove metal on the fucking planet!. Thank you guys
you need to listen harder, its pretty clear Chris isn't drumming anymore. from tonality, pressure, style and general drumming ability.
Yeah i'm going to call bullshit on that. In Resolution, the drumming was one of the stars of the show; it was smashing your face in constantly. Brutal, precise, godly. In everything since Chris left, it's pretty unremarkable and you never think 'wow that drumming is incredible' at all, like you would do after pretty much every verse when Chris was around. New guy is fine, but Gene Hoglan and Chris Adler are 2 of the best drummers in the industry, and you can't really get around that.

You have to go see them, I'm pushing 60, my older son who's 30, his gf & I go headbanging, we Iove it. I took him to his first show for an earIy 14th birthday present and he later told me it was the best present ever. We saw Breaking Ben, Three Days Grace with Adam and Seether. Excellent show. Now we go see Lamb Of God, Disturbed, Slayer, whoever good comes within driving distance. LoG absolutely sounds amazing Iive. Do it, you wont regret it 🤘

I remember seeing him with Prong, he was great with that, but quite the step up here.
Chris left too late, but he's by far the most respectable dude of the original log. This bands a weak ghost of its former self, I still pull my Peter to nag and atpb
When Chris left I was very doubtful they would find a drummer that could fill his shoes, but I am so glad they did. Chris Adler is still my favorite drummer of all time though.

Yeah, so glad that's not me. I am blessed to be in the 16% of people that do listen to it. It took a bit for me to get into it because before Metal, I just listened to the top singles of Rap artists, and pop artists (ashamed to admit that). Blizzard of Ozz was my first stepping stone into Metal.

Facts dude. I'm in the same boat as you. Lamb Of God is and always has been one of the best metal bands to ever do it. I always ranked Pantera at number one but LOG is right there with them. One of the most consistent bands that I can remember
