STORY:
Identification and paint: Romania captain Alex Papana at the Olympic Games in 1936 (first and last time that flying was an Olympic sport)
Others:
In 1937, Graf Hagenburg won with this plane, after he had destroyed his own Bücker the day before due to a too low inverted flight. Thanks to his friend Alex Papana, who immediately gave him his machine available, he won "with a waving head bandage" the World Championships in Cleveland.
This is one of the very few scale aircraft videos I have watched without taking my eyes away from the screen, my compliments to the gentleman at the controls for such an amazing presentation of skill. Also. the camera operator caught this flight at all the right angles, the whole package with the pinpoint perfect landing was beyond reproach. Thank you for sharing this demonstration in professionalism, tremendous show.

da stimme ich Dir vollkommen zu. Ich wusste nicht, dass Helmut die Bücker schon seit über 5 Jahren fliegt. Er beherrscht sie vorzüglich und macht Figuren, die andere nicht mal mit einer Schaumwaffel zustande bringen !

wow, classic, I'm currently rebuilding an Rk Jungster, it is an 80% Jungmeister, It actually has a smaller smaller wingspan at 16' and will be powered by 150hp lycombing +9 -6 G machine.
If it turns out half as nice as that model Ill be stoked :)

Everything is getting bigger in rc modelling. To fly a large plane like Helmut did, it needs also eggs of steel :o)

Boy Oh Boy, wasn't that the loudest RC Plane ever? and size that big, I believe I can fit in the cockpit just with ease and fly meself with the radio in my lap :D great to watch. what a beauty and well flown.

It's probably not the noisiest aircraft, but in scaling very high up.
In the cockpit there is enough space, but boarding and fly along is not possible for two reasons.
1. It is not allowed with an RC model fly with them (actuarially)
2. The total weight would be exceeded for the calculated load capacity.

I think it's 80% not 85% scale.
Not that it matters, this model is AWESOME. So is the filming.
By the way, landing was so smooooth, this guy must be a great pilot.

Amazing video my friend!!!! Sounds like that motor vibrates pretty bad the reason why those wires are singing so much. I just hope it doesn't shake the glue loss on the plane. 👍🏼😁 Great work behind the camera Horst! 👍🏼
Chad Cole Thank you my friend. Due to the big two cylinder engine some vibrations are present but the plane is built very stable. In flight it sounds much better than on ground.

Großmodelle sind an sich ja nicht schlecht aber sowas finde ich ein bisschen krank.Trotzdem cooles Video und das Flugbild is ja auch nicht schlecht ;)
Der Trollige Hier stellt sich die Frage, wo der Spass aufhört. Mit 130 Kg ist Obergrenze bei weitem nicht erreicht. Bei einem verhältnismäßig kleinem Original, wird ein Nachbau im M 1:1,25 dann doch sehr groß.

Why not make it 1/1 and actuly fly IN it? XD I'm not a big fan of this babys sound but its still a masterpeace of worksmanship. Awsome vid! :-D

Na das nenn ich mal nen Flugzeug!! Darf das noch ohne Fluggenehmigung einfach so fliegen?
Toreus1 Ohne "Fluggenehmigung" darf man kein Modellflugzeug über 5 Kg fliegen.
Modelle bis 25 Kg dürfen nur auf Modellflugplätzen geflogen werden und man muss versichert sein.
Bei Modellen über 25 Kg - 150 Kg bedarf es einer technischen Abnahme des Modells und eine spezielle Schulung. Dabei spielt die Größe und Gewicht keine Rolle. Problematisch wird es ab einem Gewicht > 150 Kg ... aber das ist hier ja nicht der Fall :)
