marcus24000 you misunderstand what he means by as long as she lives he controls him. He doesn’t mean because he can take her. He means because she does Vader’s bidding. Don’t forget Vader originally picked her to pilot for starkiller. He did that because he knew he’d fall for her, and whatever direction she went starkiller would follow.
I think the real reason everyone is missing is why Vader really became Vader in the first place: to save Padme. He even told Palpatine " I can't live without her". There were other reasons why Anakin turned to the dark side but saving her was his main priority. He knew how much Juno meant to Starkiller because that is how he felt about Padme.
As much as I love Starkiller/Galen Marek. Im happy he's Legends material. He's simply too overpowered. If Disney will ever incorporate him into Canon, His contributions to the birth of the Rebellion part/aspect from the first game would be ok. But his part in killing Luke, Leia, Han, and Chewbacca on the DLCs and beating BOTH Vader and the Emperor in the first game is outrageous and inappropriate for Canon. If they kinda "nerf" his abilities to fit Canon, Many fans would be happy to see him.

Looking back on this game I feel that it was incredibly rushed. it lacks the gift of detail, lengthy experience, in-depth storyline, world travels. I mean, we only got to be at the cloning facility, some pit, and the a star ship only to end up back at the facility again.

The studio wanted to cash out, the force unleashed 2 was originally supposed to feature a new protagonist in an open world star wars game. Unfortunately the studio only gave them something like 11 months to make it which is pretty much impossible so they had to use the first game as a template and rush production. So frustrating. Love starkiller tho
I read the comic before knowing about the game and it was from Boba’s POV. Reading that and watching this kind satisfied my appetite for this story. So for it to be rushed kind of doesn't matter for me. By putting the pieces were they I'm able to enjoy the game and and the comic. Idk it just how I feel about it.
We originally did this on the Xbox 360. We have 2 versions, which are largely the same (Light Side and Dark Side). This is the updated version done the on PC in ultra graphics in 60fps. The only differences in the versions is that the "Dark Side Edition" has the dark side ending as well as the Battle of Endor DLC that adds on to the dark side ending. They're not meant to be two different editions that have completely different stories, but just as a convenience for you to chose how you want to watch the end of the story play out.
The thing is The Alliance to Preserve the Expanded Universe and The Expansionist movement to protect or save the Star Wars EU got no plans to altered The Force Unleashed II, unless Walt Disney wanted to canonized it and bring Starkiller into Lords of the Sith (Dark Side ending). Just forget it about the canonized Starkiller and never forget about the legend of original Starkiller of Galen Marek. Long live the original Star Wars (EU aka legend) universe! Let's this be the official declaration of continue the original Star Wars legend universe!

Huh... this game kinda had a short story didn’t it? Basically he wakes up on Kamino and breaks out, goes to that giant monster planet to rescue Kota, goes to Dagoba, goes to the giant rebel ship, crashes giant rebel ship into kamino and then the game ends... (He went to a total of 4 different places in the game.) Gameplay wise it was action packed and awesome, story wise it was kinda short... but still a pretty good game none the less. (They should make a Force Unleashed 3, can only imagine what this game would look like made in today’s graphics.)

I liked the first one more because - longer levels , more costumes, more combos, a very big list of skills and upgrades, and the boss fight changed based on good or evil. and it was a legitemately hard choice - kill vader the cause of so much pain or help your new friends. this one had some memorable moments and made you feel like an unstoppable badass, and had some very memorable moments sure and the final boss fight was epic but it just didnt impact as strong as the first in my opinion. the ending choice was literally just pick a cutscene.

If Disney/LucasFilm were to make The Force Unleashed II canonized to continue the new Legends universe accordingly to their copyright, they have to altered the ending (Dark Side ending to Lords of the Sith) to make it sense to Walt Disney. For me, I don't really care what those new company wanted to say and they are willing wanted to bring. The Alliance to Preserve The Expanded Universe got no plans bring The Force Unleashed III, because all their hope seems lost to keep and continue the original Star Wars legend universe. Continue the Star Wars legends universe and save the EU will also save The Alliance to Restore the Republic. For the following rules how to make The Force Unleashed III project, they have the interest to buy more Legends books, if Sean Williams wanted to write them and finished the Star Wars legends. That's the only best bet to take The Force Unleashed franchise to get into the correct direction!
There's no question to me the gameplay and the visual style of the game improved in The Force Unleashed 2. I was turned off by the cutscenes that were more in game focused than the Incredible cutscenes we got overall. I feel my over hype of the story got the best of me. I did get a bonus thumb drive that had the script which was arguably better than what was done in the game, but still to me these are the problems of the game: 10. Cato Neimoidia in the premier trailer of the game looked darker and grittier than the actual game. It looked goregous for a casino planet, but I still feel the Gorog looked much more intimidating than the one we fought in the game. Let alone from the premier trailer we feel like Cato Neimoidia was after Starkiller meant Yoda. Seen Darth Vader and Yoda's teachings conflict Starkiller of what choices he should make would have been a great aspect for the game. 9. In the first game we were introduced to 6 enemy types. Namely the Wookies, the Empire's fleet, Kota's militia, Rodian scavengers, Kazdan's robot scrap army and Felucian army. And in The Force Unleashed 2 all we arguably fought was The Empire in every level where combat was involved. 8. It was awesome when Starkiller became a fugitive like character on the hunt from Vader jumping out of a building having to fight his way through in the air. It was awesome to see him run from speeders shooting lasers at him and the Empire would kill their troops along the way. Too bad him jumping in the air and him running away happened too many times later. Starkiller on the run didn't have to be always literal and him hiding from Vader's clutches on various planets like a fugitive could have been more interesting for the game. 7. Yoda should have trained Starkiller and had Starkiller get his blue kyber crystals and learn to warn him his attachment to Juno could lead him to the dark side. The fact he visited Yoda before returning to the rebel fleet shows a missed opportunity of Kota meeting Yoda. Let alone the vision he had wasn't clear in the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions. It was more clear in the Wii and perhaps other versions on other systems that Starkillershould not always use weapons to solve this problems. All we got on the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions is that multiple clones we're pleading for help and that you know was shot from a mysterious figure and start killer was more anxious to find Juno. 6. No Boba Fett boss fight. When Boba Fett kidnaps Juno on his ship and flies out into hyperspace to Kamino was dramatic, but it would have made an incredible cutscene if Starkiller pulled the Slave I back into the hanger of the EF76 Nebulon-B escort frigate. Him pulling it back in the hanger would wreck the Slave 1 and it'd be realistic if he unintentionally caused much damage to Juno putting her in a comatose state throughout the game. Then Starkiller (and the player) would fight Boba Fett and eventually there would be a cutscene of him torturing Boba Fett out of anger asking who hired him to kidnap Juno. Darth Vader and the Empire fleet would immediately jump out of hyperspace since Boba Fett revealed their location. 5. Juno's development as a leader was way unnoticed compared to Starkiller on a quest to reunite with her. She deserved more story in the game. The development in Kota and Proxy wasn't shown also. 4. I would have loved more inclusion of the Emperor threatening Vader's life in not killing Starkiller after he escaped. The incident at Cato Neimoidia would not be overlooked by the Empire, let alone the Emperor. In fact what if the Emperor hired others to kill Vader and Starkiller? That would lead the two crashing on the same planet and they have to reluctantly work together to survive. 3. The biggest problem I had with the second game is it was a one act game. What I mean is the force unleashed clearly was three parts. You have Starkiller who was sent by Vader to kill his enemies. Then the second act involved Starkiller rallying the rebel alliance. The third act involved Starkiller rescuing the rebel alliance by self-sacrifice. In the second game all you did was escape Kamino, rescue Kota, get a vision of Juno in danger, board the EF76 Nebulon-B escort frigate and rescue Juno by capturing Vader with Boba Fett following closely behind. Hell, the alternate ending where an evil clone of Starkiller kills Starkiller and his friends felt like it would be the perfect beginning of the second act of going after the rebel alliance. 2. Silly shenanigans such as the Rebel Alliance capturing Vader in a steel box, Juno surviving from being pushed out of a tall building, Starkiller grabbing onto a TIE fighter and landing perfectly on a Kamino building was too stretched of the imagination for a "Force Unleashed" experience for me. 1. The saddest part of the game is It never addressed whether the Starkiller you play as in the second game is a clone or not. In the game you unlock cutscenes of the evil Starkiller growing more submissive to Vader's Sith tutelage. One of the cutscenes involved Darth Vader showing the evil Starkiller the original Starkiller's dead body from the first game. The Force unleashed 2 missed an opportunity where the good Starkiller could have seen the original Starkiller's dead body and break down from it feeling his identity is meaningless. Honorable mention: When I pre-ordered The Force unleashed 2 I was expecting a digital code getting a Maulkiller skin. Unfortunately that did not happen. But as my mind wanders, I'm really disappointed with the following up DLC we got of the evil Starkiller hunting the rebel alliance on the moon of Endor. So many unanswered questions of how the Rebel Alliance lasted so long till the climax of Return of the Jedi baffles me. What would have made a much cooler DLC in my opinion is Starkiller would for have to fight a clone hybrid of Darth maul and himself. We'd see that this hybrid clone is sadistically insane with a dualistic personality that is much more intimidating than what we saw in J R.R. Tolkien's Smeagol/Gollum in The Lord of the Rings. The backstory would be Darth Vader try to make a hybrid clone of Darth Maul and his former apprentice to overthrow the Emperor. Due to the clone's unstable nature, Darth Vader would treat this clone like a caged animal and use it as a means to go after the good Starkiller. It's obvious why the the developers of the Force unleashed 2 didn't press forward with the alternate reality of when Starkiller made Luke Skywalker his dark apprentice. Because that would be a game of itself and sets up just a wonderful cliffhanger of mysterious possibilities.
I had to skip all the cut scenes because the game kept crashing on my PC during them. This was a great way for me to pause and watch them. Thanks for the upload.
Having this game end with a damn cliffhanger is pretty unfortunate. Since Lucas Arts was shut down, we’ll never know what happened next because there will never be a Force Unleashed III.

I love the engine update for this game, it makes it that much more fun dismembering the dudes, or when you upgrade your force push and every time you push someone parts of their armor fly off, it makes starkiller feel so much more powerful.

'The Force Unleashed' is a great story on its own and served its purpose; I like some of the creative ideas, but a sequel to it shouldn't be a thing, in my opinion.
Massive reward for saving Vader, plus civil war is good for the mercenary business. Both sides doing everything possible to kill one another including siccing bounty hunters on one another. A quick conclusion of a civil war is not in a bounty hunter's best interest
Apparently In Legends, Commander Cody was training stormtroopers in kamino. And when starkiller escaped, all of the destruction he made may have KILLED cody. But it's legends so...

I liked the first one more because - longer levels , more costumes, more combos, a very big list of skills and upgrades, and the boss fight changed based on good or evil. and it was a legitemately hard choice - kill vader the cause of so much pain or help your new friends. this one had some memorable moments and made you feel like an unstoppable badass, and had some very memorable moments sure and the final boss fight was epic but it just didnt impact as strong as the first in my opinion. the ending choice was literally just pick a cutscene.
not to mention this one was VERY short. like less than a day kinda short :/

Attention EA... since you fucked up Battlefront you may redeem yourself by making The Force Unleashed 3. Or... Disney/Lucasfilms needs to make this cannon.
If Disney/LucasFilm were to make The Force Unleashed II canonized to continue the new Legends universe accordingly to their copyright, they have to altered the ending (Dark Side ending to Lords of the Sith) to make it sense to Walt Disney.
For me, I don't really care what those new company wanted to say and they are willing wanted to bring. The Alliance to Preserve The Expanded Universe got no plans bring The Force Unleashed III, because all their hope seems lost to keep and continue the original Star Wars legend universe. Continue the Star Wars legends universe and save the EU will also save The Alliance to Restore the Republic.
For the following rules how to make The Force Unleashed III project, they have the interest to buy more Legends books, if Sean Williams wanted to write them and finished the Star Wars legends. That's the only best bet to take The Force Unleashed franchise to get into the correct direction!

There's no question to me the gameplay and the visual style of the game improved in The Force Unleashed 2. I was turned off by the cutscenes that were more in game focused than the Incredible cutscenes we got overall. I feel my over hype of the story got the best of me. I did get a bonus thumb drive that had the script which was arguably better than what was done in the game, but still to me these are the problems of the game:
10. Cato Neimoidia in the premier trailer of the game looked darker and grittier than the actual game. It looked goregous for a casino planet, but I still feel the Gorog looked much more intimidating than the one we fought in the game. Let alone from the premier trailer we feel like Cato Neimoidia was after Starkiller meant Yoda. Seen Darth Vader and Yoda's teachings conflict Starkiller of what choices he should make would have been a great aspect for the game.
9. In the first game we were introduced to 6 enemy types. Namely the Wookies, the Empire's fleet, Kota's militia, Rodian scavengers, Kazdan's robot scrap army and Felucian army. And in The Force Unleashed 2 all we arguably fought was The Empire in every level where combat was involved.
8. It was awesome when Starkiller became a fugitive like character on the hunt from Vader jumping out of a building having to fight his way through in the air. It was awesome to see him run from speeders shooting lasers at him and the Empire would kill their troops along the way. Too bad him jumping in the air and him running away happened too many times later. Starkiller on the run didn't have to be always literal and him hiding from Vader's clutches on various planets like a fugitive could have been more interesting for the game.
7. Yoda should have trained Starkiller and had Starkiller get his blue kyber crystals and learn to warn him his attachment to Juno could lead him to the dark side. The fact he visited Yoda before returning to the rebel fleet shows a missed opportunity of Kota meeting Yoda. Let alone the vision he had wasn't clear in the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions. It was more clear in the Wii and perhaps other versions on other systems that Starkillershould not always use weapons to solve this problems. All we got on the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions is that multiple clones we're pleading for help and that you know was shot from a mysterious figure and start killer was more anxious to find Juno.
6. No Boba Fett boss fight. When Boba Fett kidnaps Juno on his ship and flies out into hyperspace to Kamino was dramatic, but it would have made an incredible cutscene if Starkiller pulled the Slave I back into the hanger of the EF76 Nebulon-B escort frigate. Him pulling it back in the hanger would wreck the Slave 1 and it'd be realistic if he unintentionally caused much damage to Juno putting her in a comatose state throughout the game. Then Starkiller (and the player) would fight Boba Fett and eventually there would be a cutscene of him torturing Boba Fett out of anger asking who hired him to kidnap Juno. Darth Vader and the Empire fleet would immediately jump out of hyperspace since Boba Fett revealed their location.
5. Juno's development as a leader was way unnoticed compared to Starkiller on a quest to reunite with her. She deserved more story in the game. The development in Kota and Proxy wasn't shown also.
4. I would have loved more inclusion of the Emperor threatening Vader's life in not killing Starkiller after he escaped. The incident at Cato Neimoidia would not be overlooked by the Empire, let alone the Emperor. In fact what if the Emperor hired others to kill Vader and Starkiller? That would lead the two crashing on the same planet and they have to reluctantly work together to survive.
3. The biggest problem I had with the second game is it was a one act game. What I mean is the force unleashed clearly was three parts. You have Starkiller who was sent by Vader to kill his enemies. Then the second act involved Starkiller rallying the rebel alliance. The third act involved Starkiller rescuing the rebel alliance by self-sacrifice. In the second game all you did was escape Kamino, rescue Kota, get a vision of Juno in danger, board the EF76 Nebulon-B escort frigate and rescue Juno by capturing Vader with Boba Fett following closely behind. Hell, the alternate ending where an evil clone of Starkiller kills Starkiller and his friends felt like it would be the perfect beginning of the second act of going after the rebel alliance.
2. Silly shenanigans such as the Rebel Alliance capturing Vader in a steel box, Juno surviving from being pushed out of a tall building, Starkiller grabbing onto a TIE fighter and landing perfectly on a Kamino building was too stretched of the imagination for a "Force Unleashed" experience for me.
1. The saddest part of the game is It never addressed whether the Starkiller you play as in the second game is a clone or not. In the game you unlock cutscenes of the evil Starkiller growing more submissive to Vader's Sith tutelage. One of the cutscenes involved Darth Vader showing the evil Starkiller the original Starkiller's dead body from the first game. The Force unleashed 2 missed an opportunity where the good Starkiller could have seen the original Starkiller's dead body and break down from it feeling his identity is meaningless.
Honorable mention: When I pre-ordered The Force unleashed 2 I was expecting a digital code getting a Maulkiller skin. Unfortunately that did not happen. But as my mind wanders, I'm really disappointed with the following up DLC we got of the evil Starkiller hunting the rebel alliance on the moon of Endor. So many unanswered questions of how the Rebel Alliance lasted so long till the climax of Return of the Jedi baffles me. What would have made a much cooler DLC in my opinion is Starkiller would for have to fight a clone hybrid of Darth maul and himself. We'd see that this hybrid clone is sadistically insane with a dualistic personality that is much more intimidating than what we saw in J R.R. Tolkien's Smeagol/Gollum in The Lord of the Rings. The backstory would be Darth Vader try to make a hybrid clone of Darth Maul and his former apprentice to overthrow the Emperor. Due to the clone's unstable nature, Darth Vader would treat this clone like a caged animal and use it as a means to go after the good Starkiller. It's obvious why the the developers of the Force unleashed 2 didn't press forward with the alternate reality of when Starkiller made Luke Skywalker his dark apprentice. Because that would be a game of itself and sets up just a wonderful cliffhanger of mysterious possibilities.

I love the engine update for this game, it makes it that much more fun dismembering the dudes, or when you upgrade your force push and every time you push someone parts of their armor fly off, it makes starkiller feel so much more powerful.

'The Force Unleashed' is a great story on its own and served its purpose; I like some of the creative ideas, but a sequel to it shouldn't be a thing, in my opinion.
