- This is a fly made using a Girls Hair Band (Scrunchies) as a tail. Great alternative to the Mop Fly concept. Super durable, easy to tie.
Search on Amazon for "Baby Hair Scrunchies" and you should find them.
My daughter just got a bunch of them for Christmas, what good timing... LOL

Very innovative, nice work. The crane fly is my favorite, good for trout/walleye. I must say some people are spending way too much time home alone.

Richard, all the hair ties I'm finding are more of a terry cloth. Yours seem to be a stretchy foam material. Any other sources?

I got mine at a local "Dollar Store" but a search on Amazon --I found these which I think are the same.

They are probably made in China but I got mine from the local Dollar store in a bag with many colors.
I have seen them under several different Brands. Search on Amazon for Kids Hair bands. Here is a link to one example-
