Ok, we all agree that this kiss scene is awesome (!!!) but what really gets me here is the beginning when he tolds her to count to three. "When you can't control yourself, you should at least count to three." In the first moment, you think he's teaching her again but when she comes to "three" and he counts it with her, you realize that he's actually talking to himself because HE can't control himself any longer. And then he simply gives in. And that's what makes this kiss scene so powerfull in my point of view.
I notice it too, he gives himself 3 seconds to control his mind and his feeling to Moon Young. After waiting 3 seconds to consider about the kiss or his feeling again, he still love her n want to kiss her so much. And the kiss is all of the emotion he feel about her all the time but he always want to hide it.
His ears and neck are literally red in advance, because he knows he's about to kiss her,that little whimper she made when he pulled her closer 🔥🔥,wow And the eye flirting and lips biting she kept doing when he was on top of her wishing her happy birthday am pretty sure it's not in the script

The kiss was breathtaking, so freaking hot and natural, literally the hottest and most passionate kiss I've ever seen in a kdrama PERIOD! The way he grabbed her, breathed her in, kissed her so intensely till she almost couldn't breathe, pulled her to him, then lift her up by her waist and she made that whimper sound (basically moaned xd), and that nervous look on her face (the way she was looking at him nervously, and he was just focusing on her, his eyes were literally fixated on her). I literally couldn't breathe for minutes, I kept screaming and had to pause to collect myself lol Also can we talk about that tight hug on the stairs. You can tell how much he missed her so much and was worried about her, by the way he run and hugged her so tightly that he almost tripped and she almost fell, and all this happened while he was having a fever (he was lovesick 😂). The details in this drama are seriously mind blowing 😭

This is the most beautiful kissing scene i ever watch. It’s not sloppy with saliva or clamp lips, just an open, no holding back kiss with real grunts/moans. The longing of the characters is palpable. I always know kim soo hyun is the best kisser but i never thought seo ye ji could match his pace. Im so happy she is not like those stiff as board actress who felt they were being taken advantage when lead actor kiss them. They think it’s cute but it’s annoying as hell. My love from the star is my all time favorite drama but it’s completely taken over by its ok to not be ok in all aspects. They better give us a happy ending.

i really respect their acting in this scene. They could really maintain that energy of frustration of being apart, wanting to be together, missing each other. after the 1st kiss, seo ye ji kept that energy of her character's frustration mix with dissapointment and also starting to realize MGT kissed her and then MGT kissed her again to sooth her and reassure her. they both really brought out that experience. respect ! its not easy to bring out that energy consistantly. the micro facial expression is really evident. 👏👏👏👏👏

This kissing scene is a masterpiece. Gangtae's simple gray tshirt, his toned/muscle arms, sweats from fever, those neck veins popping and red ears. And to add that, how he carries KM with his hands close to him and use the other hand to support her head! Even when KM was lying already, his hand is still on her back head. He was aggresive (and passionate) in a gentle way. He was in control. Trust and respect is there. 💯
I really like the contrast in their demeanor while they're counting to three. While MY is calming herself and putting her safety pin back, KT is giving in to his desire and taking off his.
Some comments about her recent scandal is really sad. People love her character and think she's amazing... flaws and all, but when it turns out she has some of the same characteristics as her character, somehow she is a bad human being in real life. We all have issues/flaws/demons. Should she have her entire career ruined because she was in love with her boyfriend and was jealous? Seems like she was too human. The punishment doesn't fit the crime. I hope she continues to have a long and prosperous career. It's Okay Not to Be Okay is the best drama I have ever seen. the writing is immaculate and it has changed my relationship with my sons. Her portrayal is a gift to the world and this "healing" drama will cause so many people to re-examine their own lives. She is a part of that gift of Art to the world. It breaks my heart to see how someone's life can get destroyed over personal issues. I am sure what she did was wrong, but it just feels overkill with the hate she is getting. I don't understand South Korean culture. To each their own. It just seems so wrong and the complete opposite of the message the show was trying to convey. I wish her luck.

These are the best paired actors in any kdrama i have ever seen...every time i watch this scene i appreciate something different...the first time was just how amazing it was directed and executed....then you notice they are both very lonely souls who understand each others pain and rely on each to heal their hearts...They have such a deep connection through their pain...you can see even when he cries after reading her book because he understands her on a deep level...I will probably watch this drama 1000 times after its finished and still feel the same as the first time i watched it. Just amazing!!!!!!!!!

Honestly speaking, I kinda felt nervous watching this. I was shaking from the time she was mad. Then the counting. Then the sensual tension exploded when he held her face. Like ugh. Seun Omomeji Don’t get me wrong, that kiss was beautiful but the kiss in IOTNBO has a different vibe for me. The attention to detail from style, cinematography, and overall story line hits a lot harder or if anything...it hits differently. I’m such a cinematography nerd that even the details on sound and the camera rolling through the light fixtures were exquisite. There were 4-5 angles on how they shot this kiss and damn was it stunning.
When he said "when you cant control youself, count to three" he said it for himself not for her. As he is having the biggest impulse to kiss her. You can see that he counts too. He's breathing heavily and it gets heavier the more she calmed down, means the counting works for her but not for him.

I'm gonna comment this here too. I think Moon GangTae has wanted Ko MunYeong more than she has wanted him since the VERY BEGINNING. He's just too good at hiding and suppressing his feelings. He controls too well. He is very patient. Remember the scene at the inn when the two patients would ask who is the one who loves more? Jeong Tae-sshi will say, "It's the one with more patience. Love is about patience." So, this man, who says, "Let's talk" with a fever, makes one last-ditch attempt at controlling his true desires. He can't count.. we've never seen him reveal his lack of control.. he asks her to count... he says three aloud and GOES for it anyway.... it's as if this whole dam of emotions broke and he just let everything go....
In episode 1 or maybe it was 2 when he was at her managers office and telling her he came because he wanted to see her again, has so much sexual tension. He literally never stops staring at her lips the entire conversation.
Totally agreed! We always think like MunYeong wants him more since she always shows her attraction towards him by touching or with her words but I feel like It was Gang Tae who loves more or at least wants her more just like you said. We could see that from the first ep while he was looking into her eyes there was a passionate desire and with every episode, it grew bigger. But since he has to surpress or hide it people started to think that he doesn't want her like she did. But especially this episode and this kiss proved that was wrong. I am so glad they are not hiding their feelings from each other now :)

The way he grabbed her, breathed her in, kissed her so intensely till she almost couldn't breathe, pulled her to him, then lift her up by her waist and she made that whimper sound (basically moaned xd), and that nervous look on her face (the way she was looking at him nervously, and he was just focusing on her, his eyes were literally fixated on her). I literally couldn't breathe for minutes, I kept screaming and had to pause to collect myself lol
Also can we talk about that tight hug on the stairs. You can tell how much he missed her so much and was worried about her, by the way he run and hugged her so tightly that he almost tripped and she almost fell, and all this happened while he was having a fever (he was lovesick 😂). The details in this drama are seriously mind blowing 😭

This is the most beautiful kissing scene i ever watch. It’s not sloppy with saliva or clamp lips, just an open, no holding back kiss with real grunts/moans. The longing of the characters is palpable. I always know kim soo hyun is the best kisser but i never thought seo ye ji could match his pace. Im so happy she is not like those stiff as board actress who felt they were being taken advantage when lead actor kiss them. They think it’s cute but it’s annoying as hell. Some comments about her recent scandal is really sad. People love her character and think she's amazing... flaws and all, but when it turns out she has some of the same characteristics as her character, somehow she is a bad human being in real life. We all have issues/flaws/demons. Should she have her entire career ruined because she was in love with her boyfriend and was jealous? Seems like she was too human. The punishment doesn't fit the crime. I hope she continues to have a long and prosperous career. It's Okay Not to Be Okay is the best drama I have ever seen. the writing is immaculate and it has changed my relationship with my sons. Her portrayal is a gift to the world and this "healing" drama will cause so many people to re-examine their own lives. She is a part of that gift of Art to the world. It breaks my heart to see how someone's life can get destroyed over personal issues. I am sure what she did was wrong, but it just feels overkill with the hate she is getting. I don't understand South Korean culture. To each their own. It just seems so wrong and the complete opposite of the message the show was trying to convey. I wish her luck.

These are the best paired actors in any kdrama i have ever seen...every time i watch this scene i appreciate something different...the first time was just how amazing it was directed and executed....then you notice they are both very lonely souls who understand each others pain and rely on each to heal their hearts...They have such a deep connection through their pain...you can see even when he cries after reading her book because he understands her on a deep level...I will probably watch this drama 1000 times after its finished and still feel the same as the first time i watched it. Honestly speaking, I kinda felt nervous watching this. I was shaking from the time she was mad. Then the counting. Then the sensual tension exploded when he held her face. Like ugh. IT WAS SO RAW I WASN’T EVEN THE ONE WHO KISSED OR GOT KISSED BUT ITS AS IF ALL MY FREAKING SENSES FELT THAT KISS. gosh. Was it only me who felt like that? Am I going crazy? And that hauntingly beautiful song playing while everything unfolds is just *chef’s kiss*. MY GOSH THIS IS HOW SWOON LITERALLY IS.

Exactly my thought. Imo, they are many kdrama couples with god-tier chemistry but Kim Soo Hyun x Seo Yea Ji pairing is totally in the league of their own. The sexual tension and intensity are very thick.

Seun Omomeji Don’t get me wrong, that kiss was beautiful but the kiss in IOTNBO has a different vibe for me. The attention to detail from style, cinematography, and overall story line hits a lot harder or if anything...it hits differently. I’m such a cinematography nerd that even the details on sound and the camera rolling through the light fixtures were exquisite. There were 4-5 angles on how they shot this kiss and damn was it stunning.

Totally agreed! We always think like MunYeong wants him more since she always shows her attraction towards him by touching or with her words but I feel like It was Gang Tae who loves more or at least wants her more just like you said. We could see that from the first ep while he was looking into her eyes there was a passionate desire and with every episode, it grew bigger. But since he has to surpress or hide it people started to think that he doesn't want her like she did. But especially this episode and this kiss proved that was wrong. I am so glad they are not hiding their feelings from each other now :)
Literally the first episode when he was talking about the girl of his past and he kept looking at her lips I had to pause it and be like “ok ok this is not gonna be a normal drama” even in ep1 their sexual tension was so palpable

Idk how many times I've watched this scene. By far the most passionate kiss in kdrama I have ever seen. He missed her so much and you can just tell he could no longer hold back. Everything about this scene..about the drama is perfection! On point.
