the scene was too realistic and well acted, it felt too real, most of the times in korean dramas we have an ost playing while they kiss but u hear the sound of sea and wind and their lips. it was too pretty and natural, well done casts and pd and writer!

This scene not only a kissing scene it's about a fear I think she representing every girls those who fear about life she challenging herself achieving something. The way jiwon acted in this scene so amazing. She is very good actress in my opinion she is not over acting if she do overacting we can't feel it's overacting mostly Korean actress are always overacting but she is different and everyone accept her beauty her face is very flexible in my opinion she can act in Hollywood ,Bollywood, Spanish any language that's the power of her personality and face.
That line about surfing and her acting while saying those lines are REAL. That exact moment she has become Kim Ji Won not Seon-A, because Kim Ji Won has Hydrophobia (she got it from nearly drowning when she was a child). She's telling herself while filming the surf scene - that people don't die easily so she will be okay, she won't die. Can you imagine her struggling with her phobia but still had to act in front of the camera 😭
That's why you can feel the sincerity in her acting, it's genuine.

Let's discuss the emotions displays in this drama, I don't understand how can people say "this show is not going anywhere". You can see Sun-ah have her own story as she's so emotionally proud did the surfing. During the first two eps, the story only being narrated from Jae won's perspective, I'm pretty sure Sun-ah's story will shatter us. (Chang wook said in PC, yoon sun-ah/lee eun-o's is a character that he sympathizes with the most). So basically, we're not even achieving sun-ah's viewpoint yet 😭
And can we talk about the consent thingy? Like they mentioned it after the opening. Jae-won withdrew his finger when he saw sun-ah was flinching, then he kissed her when she gave the signal ❤️ That's how you read the sign :)

KJW won her hydrophobia, challenged her acting spectrum performing double personality and proved herself as the best actress giving natural kisses and emotional bed scenes, going out her comfort zone showing us to be a 360° actress. I was skeptical in the first episode, because I didn't like she was too perfect and JCW's way of acting, but in the second one they proved that this drama it was worth to be seen👏👏👏👏
And then the Bar scene happened. How's your take to JCW. He a god.

I get too emotional while watching this. Nearly sobbed. I follow KJW works from One Sunny Day til Lovestruck. All i can say is that she has the most natural progress in terms of characterization growth of all actors out there. I don't know whether she herself aware of it but c'mon. From an ordinary troubled student in High Kick, to a sophisticated bold student in The Heirs. From there instead of getting into a main role she did OSD which the characters of the web drama barely speaking with no conflict in the plot. Then DOTS came, another bold character there which she grabbed more int'l attention, with a battle of the heart as a military doctor. To FFMW which she showed us another uniqueness of the character and made herself known as queen of aegyo.
We also have Detective K3 which has her character as the core of the story and we got to see her as a mother on screen for the first time though it's only slightly appeared but the emotion was there as well. And don't forget AC. I know it's not that popular due to many criticism and all but we got to see her new dimension, with her character getting bolder as she is about to lead her people. Am sure if AC 2 is destined to happen (amen to this) we got to see lot more of Tanya's strength.
And now we have Lovestruck. I was worried it will be OSD-like, with lack of conflict and lines from the character but hey! I didn't expect to have this much of colors and views as well now we only in the 2nd episode. I have to say all the 6 actors accepted to offer in lovestruck deserved to be called as bold ones. It's a new approach and method with not your typical kdrama vibes. Disagreements, complaints and such must be out there but i don't give a shit. I enjoy the show. I'm happy KJW back with a new bold character. And i have a feeling it's going to be a mark of something new in kdrama.

I became a fan of Ji Won last May because of FFMW and I watched almost all of her projects after that. Man, she's pure talent and beauty! I was also so emotional in the episode 2 during the surfing scene. I'm so proud of her, she's so brave and a courageous woman. ♥️

Cinematic! It is like poetry. I do not understand why this Drama did not receive any recognition. KJW's acting is as superb as QOT, JCW delivered an outstanding passionate but gentle kiss that rarely happens in a drama. I will pray hard that there will be a Season 2 of LITC if not another project for these two. Way to go Netflix!

This drama is really different from all the other kdramas not just because of the kiss and steamy scenes but also the plot story telling and cast also is great. Different and great from all the other kdramas. Especially, it is realistic. Also, I love Ji chang wook and Kim ji won.

This is probably the best pure romance genre in kdrama land. Im in awe with the chinematography and the actor chemistry. The interview format might be confusing at first. But if you going with their flow, you will get the story line which is related to real life. Different perspective toward how you date and love really interesting. Love it

I just watched the first 2 eps, and as a kdrama lover this feels so new and so real, i wasn’t expecting it. The chemistry between the couples is on point. The script is too different from other romantic dramas which makes it so unique and enjoyable.

The cinematography is excellent especially the birds' eye view of the places and the details are in placed and emphasized to create such powerful mood. The kilig this drama brings is so different from the kilig I’ve felt with the kdramas I’ve watched in the past. I thought Park Seo Joon is the best leading man Kim Ji Won ever had but Ji Chang Wook proved he could match the intensity of kilig Park Seo Joon has made me feel. In the series “Fight For My Way”, I think it’s safe to say that what I’ve felt was “teenage kilig” because I know all of us can agree that “FFMW” has this something that can bring us to a roller coaster ride of emotions but in “Lovestruck in the City”, another form of “kilig” has been developed. This series challenged Kim Ji Won and I guess only a few knew how many sacrifices Kim Ji Won risked to portray her character perfectly.
On the other hand, I cannot understand why people are labeling the scene as “sex scene” when it’s not even erotic. That scene in the bed of YangYang couple (both Kim Ji Won and Ji Chang Wook approved the nickname during their press conference) was so romantic and I couldn’t trace something as “nakakalibog” or “nakakabastos” in it. I guess people are just afraid that Kim Ji Won would gain once more lots of fans across the globe as she decided to step out of her comfort zone.

I only recently found this show and when i say this scene blew me away it's 1000% true. The way Jiwon kissed his fingers is the most sexy and romantic thing i ever saw in a kdrama. His hands holding onto the chair like her kiss is making him weak just shows how Changwook understood the assignment. I could go on and on about how i love and adore this scene. I hope future kdramas take note that not always we need ost's in the background when there is a kiss scene, sometimes we just need the sounds that remind us what love is

Others may not see this drama entertaining but I am glad they paired up for this. Amazing plot twist and more realistic I know K-drama casts never paired-up again so I'm happy they team up for this drama cheers
