So am I , sick of living in Hawaii! It's RIDICULOUS living here! I told my husband if nothing changes for the better by mid-2024 (like right after my son's graduate in May), I'm moving with or without him!! And I was dead serious! I'm sick of the economy here! For my family of 4, we disqualified for SNAP because we was $400 over the income limit. The government her is so pathetic, it makes me want to puke!!
I completely understand your frustration. Plus, the cost-of-living and food items in Hawaii are more expensive than other states. That is not properly accounted for when it comes to getting assistance in the state!
$40 a month for June, July, and August 😂😂😂. The cost of food is ridiculous! I'm in NYC $40 a month is nothing that's not even enough for a week. We need $70-$80 a week because food is so expensive. Butter is $7, strawberry $8, and forget about spaghetti sauce $3-4. NY was approved as well!
Agree! Food prices have gone up and stayed up! Hopefully, now that the program has been approved, Congress will work to increase the amount to reflect food prices!
