Henry still had a little more to his game than Mbappe, playing in a much tougher era too with fouls being less strict from referees. Henry could score free kicks, left foot right foot, long range efforts, playmaking creativity and could carry his teams alone. I don’t think Mbappe has all that except maybe carrying his teams but we’ll see because he could develop it too. I’d compare him more to CR7 since he looks to be a pacey goal scoring machine

Im French and an arsenal fan, so titi is my guy..but Mbappé is clearly on another level. Henry never scored for France at key games like world cup finals or Euro…in his time..Zidane was the guy. In this generation, Mbappé is the key player and the captain of the team. He is also more clinical, more obsessed about the goal than titi was!

As an arsenal fan who supports the club because of Henry. My favourite player ever. But Mbappe from 2021 to now has been playing at a level as good as if not higher than prime Titi. He scores at a higher level for both club and country. His dribbling and sharpness Is better than Henry’s and he is even faster. Even more explosive. He is better out wide too. Henry was stronger and a slightly better passer but Mbappe the last year has showed he can pass at his level. He really is Very special.

He was Frances top scorer at that World Cup 98 and Euro 2000 where he was routinely awarded motm and he provided the assist for the semi final winning goal in the World Cup. He also got to another final in 2006 which again was lost on penalties. There career isn’t that different apart from the farming the farmers league for different amounts of time.

Mbappe's international career already outstrips Henry's easily and he's the more prolific scorer. Criticise Ligue 1, sure, but the Premier League wasn't all that hot in Henry's day and neither were Arsenal's performances in Europe for the most part. Did Henry win the CL eventually? Sure, when he was 31 and playing for an astonishing Barca team, in which he was outshone by both Messi and Eto'o.
Mbappe's best argument is his international career. But there is alot of talks that he wasnt even French best player in 2018. The Ligue 1 thing and lack of UEFA just cancels out his club career.

Mbappe is incredible but thierry was playing in an Era where there were many goats e.g. R9, Zidane, Ronaldinho and world class players were a dime a dozen. Mbappe for sure. Henry is the greatest Premier League player ever but never shone at a WC like Mbappe. The guy scored a hatrick in the WC final! He will undoubtedly be the all time top WC goal scorer and potentially be the all time top UCL scorer though surpassing Ronaldo will be hard. I truly believe he will be an all time top 10 player, R9 level. Not sure if he will reach Cristaino and Messis level but pretty sure he will be top 10. Henry for me is an all time top 25 player.
It's not spoken about enough as his main attribute is his pace & dribbling, but Mbappe on his right foot is one of the best finishers. I think only Kane rivals him. The power & precision is amazing
Henry makes and score goals, and also creates for others. Mbappé would have to improve on that side of his game; he has to start creating for others, and if he continues on this trajectory with that added improvement on his game, he'd definitely be "better" than Titi in the end. That's for sure. For now, I'm sticking with Titi.
