Definitely stick around to see how things turn out! 500 is the price I paid for all the parts not to complete the swap but it will be done on the cheap without cutting corners. Hope I wasn't misleading.
Thanks, yes I'll try and put that video out soon. I've been filming my M3 these past few days. Trying to finish that up so I can start on that K swap. Stay tuned!
Yeah I know my h series makes good power but it's broke so it has to come out. I'll fix it later and install in something else. 500 buck for my swap that has most of what I need and my car is up and going again is a good deal. I can always upgrade later the car will be set for k series at that point. It will make for some good content. I don't mind. I guess I'll see how sluggish it is.
It's been a while but I didn't bore it alot. It was still in the 87mm range. Maybe 87.5mm. From what I've researched. The fiber reinforced sleeves don't last long with aftermarket pistons.
@@RustyHondas gorra be patient. I bought a 2002 rsx type s for $1600 back in 2019. I sold the shell for $450. I bought an eg hatch bone stock for $500. Then I got unbranded kswap mounts, conversion harness. I’m eBay. Kswap 36mm hubs were $150 back then from insane shaft. I sold a bunch of parts from the original civic and made my money back… it’s doable.. just gotta wait for the right time
@@RustyHondas the civic eg had like 300k miles accident free. The rsx type s had like 210k miles, it was crashed a bit. But the compression of the engine came out 190 psi straight across. I think it read 210 straight across with another compression gauge.
@@soggycivic8594 did you do all the standard maintenance on the engine when you took it out, I kinda wanna do k24a4 swap in my em2 but am not sure if can use the ecu ik ever other part tho
Wow 😳 A 500 budget , excited to see more most definitely

You’ll want a k20z3 or a2 lol. Them a3 are so sluggish. The h series will put the a3 to shame all day
