I like how I was just listening to this, chilling out and enjoying the prog rock elements and the jazzy elements and the everything elements, and then 4:14 made me sit up and think "This reminds me of the Metropolis music from Spyro 2". It's funny what things you get reminded of by other music.

I have a question. How did you figure out the lower numeral (*x* in -/*x*) of the time signature when this is a tracker module, and not sheet music? Are quarter/half/whatever notes even a thing in tracker music? And how does one accurately find the top numeral?
@@username4471 I got the time signature just by listening, I don't know much about how it would work in the program. Musically to me, the previous time signature felt like 6/4, so at the switch it felt like it was more subdivided into eighth notes like "12 12 123" or even like 4/4 minus an eighth note like "1 2 3 (1/2)4". As far as the tracker is concerned, I assume it works just with the top numeral (ie: 7) and a tempo, so if you went from 6/4 to 7/8, it would be like 6 with a tempo of 170 to 7 with a tempo of 340. Then again I'm really not sure. Sorry if this is all just nonsense, haha

The kind of program this is called is a "tracker". Reading what is going is is actually quite simple. -The highlighted row is where the song is currently. Think of this as like reading lines in a poem in that to access more information, you must advance the position of where you are focusing. -Each column is a different voice the program is producing. When there are more than two producing sound, there is polyphony -Each song created using a tracker is divided into segments called "patterns". Areas of the video marked blue are patterns either not yet played or already played. -Each cell has a command format like this: Where each note is represented by its tone (A-G) and whether or not it is a semitone sharper (there are no flats the arranger can input), each instrument roughly corresponds to an audio sample saved within the file, its volume is in range 0-64 inclusive, and its effect represented by three hexadecimal (base-16) numbers. Some cells are empty. These cells simply continue the command which the last filled cell executed. Some cells only have an effect.
