The Russian Federation wants to reach an agreement with the new leadership of Syria on the preservation of bases at the naval port in Tartus and at the Khmeimim air base. The naval base is the only Russian hub in the Mediterranean. The airfield is used to support Russian operations in Africa. This cannot be allowed.

For example, Russia used 1 thousand ballistic missiles in 6 months, but to produce the same amount of Patriot missiles (for air defense) you need THREE YEARS. Simple math reveals that the whole NATO cannot compete with Russia in military production. And more important, western nations do not want to compete with Russia and vote to reduce help for Ukraine.
NATO is a defensive organisation, they have no business in Ukraina. Supplying weapon to Ukraina is a totally other business.
