Fun fact: This is the last time you fight Jenova. Another fun fact. Jenova is Sephiroth’s puppet that he was controlling for the majority of the game since he wasn’t physically present but mentally through Jenova.
Honestly, this isn't too different than the original. The Musical Midi jump from FF6 to FF7 wasn't super different for the original. Still, love this song. One of the most underrated boss themes in the franchise!
You're not wrong. Part of that is that the SNES sound chip was leagues better than it should have been. The biggest downside to the SNES was memory storage; a friend of mine had a modded version of Rock N' Roll Racing with the original tracks (and voices) of the songs and you could barely tell they were being synthesized.
This's my favorite song in the entire Final Fantasy franchise! Love it so much, underrated Imo.

@@solidSnake4580 Yeah, you don't really see the real Sephiroth until after this fight.
Just seeing this thumbnail makes me miss FF Record keeper like crazy. So many good times! 😭
Nice, my favorite FFVII battle theme! It's such an underrated song. 😉

It probably has something to do with the fact that both sound chips were designed by Sony.
The best part about this is cloud cid and yuffie is always my team when I replay this game
Cloud, cid and yuffie
Imagine One-Winged Angel (Sephiroth) but on the Super Famicom
Will there be any Brave Fencer Musashi SNES edition covers?
I never played this game so I can't really tell...
@ You gotta try it. It’s a lot of fun to play and the soundtrack is immaculate.
