      @@stahlstahlstahl2325 watching the actual footage of his fight with cooper, first it wasn’t actually him and second he had only received about 4 seconds of extra time so he likely would have won either way. As for ducking foreman, i personally know nothing of that but by that point he was already past his prime and he had still defeated George no matter how it’s sliced so there is no question as to his skill and greatness.

      @@hamiltonblankson I realise your question was likely rhetorical, but you’re right. Because of Cus, Mike is hailed by millions as a legend of the sport of boxing and Cus in turn finally got the recognition he deserved from the boxing community. It was a fair trade off, I think.

      It’s easier said than done that’s for sure. I’ve tried doing it for ONE minute straight and I was breathing heavily and ready to call it quits. It’s very challenging.

      He had kind of a love/hate relationship with Cuss that always leaned more toward love, and the hate part wasn't real hate, as much as he said Cuss would constantly push him, but he understood why.

    Cus literally found the perfect vessel to bring his vision alive. He molded mentally and physically , again let me express the mental part, the "perfect weapon." Tyson even said Cus used hypnotists on him as part of his training. When Cus died Rooney became his trainer/handler.
    When he left Rooney, it was over with. He reverted back mentally to how he was back in Brownsville. Tyson needed structure. A routine, and most importantly that love.
    Wasnt no love from Givens or King.

    Whenever Mike talks about Cus, you can see the love and emotion come out. I had no idea that Cus became his legal guardian, so Cus was most definitely his father

      @@marc1883 i lived and trained in china with monks..learned a few things bout bruce..ip was not bruces chief instructor altho bruce respected him .bruce was arrogant rubbed the others wrong way..was asked to leave the school before finishing the wing chun curriculum.bruce was not a poor kid from the streets like mike.theres alot more to tell you but im sure you can find a reliable source on ur own.

    It’s so poetic and fluid that Tyson’s body jab technique and form mirrors the exact stance , exact positioning, depth of the squat and snap of the jab.

    That style, along with the weaving is what made him invincible in his prime. When he lost Cus and the man Cus had to look over him in his passing, Tyson became a shell of the destroyer he once was.

    Mike even at this age is faster than all of todays heavyweights, his hand and foot speed is insane.
    (not saying he can beat todays heavyweights before ppl jump down my throat!)

    Man Tyson seriously one of the coolest people on earth. So lucky he was able to get famous so now we all get to have him be apart of our life's. Hope to God I get to kick it with this GOAT for a day or even just part of the day. Shit I actually would be stupid happy to just meet him.

    There’s only a few people in one’s life time that you can’t believe are real, back in Tysons prime, he was one of those people. He’s still a monster though.

    i never realized he was that intelligent. that knowledgeable. He had a love for the sport thats beyond beautiful. that muscle memory to demonstrate the technique, activating muscles that hasnt been moved in forever. You can see it's still him. That moved me. something about that made me tear up.

    Bro, Mike is such a funny guy, and so naturally too. My feed is packed with videos of him and I can’t help but watch every single one. He might be “an old guy” but he’s still got it. Really shows how hard and methodically he trained, it’s in his system forever.
