I love what he did. He made the best out of his situation and came out on top after being let go. The only reason he was hated was because he’s was more successful being a “Billionaire”
If any of you know about the stock market during 9/11 the govt asked all trading to stop. They officially closed the markets Wednesday and Thursday after Tuesday 9/11. Bobby clearly squeezed in those trades before market closed and after the govt asked to close the markets.
What is wrong with Bobby's move i don't understand? He dident organize a terror attack, he just made the best out of given situation.
Bobby had an image of a philanthropist and not to mentioned he paid for the scholarships of his colleagues who died in the attacks children with the success of Axe Capital. This philanthropist hero image kept him safe from any major public effort to go after him from the government. If word got out he profited from the disaster and that Axe Capital got its profits from 9-11 shorts, his image will be ruined and then no one will go to bat for him when the feds try to get him on insider trading charges.
I could be totally wrong but I thought the smoking gun was that he was being fired by his partners that day not necessarily the blood money he made cause that is hard to hide so it can't be the big revelation. The revelation is that he did it all with money that wasn't his and was practically stolen. He built axecap with the capital from the coworkers who despised him enough to fire a partner (him).
If you don't understand why what he did was wrong you need to reevaluate your life.

I'm not sure that reporter has anything incriminating. If Axelrod traded on public knowledge, than that just makes him the first out of the gate. Sadly, lack of ethics is not illegal in this country. You have to actually commit a crime. Otherwise most of the GOP congressmen would be in jail.

Sure do miss Axe, show not the same for me. I watched last season sparingly, well directed and great actors. Currently not for me, watching Axe reruns as we speak!
The show isn't nearly as interesting without Axe. Plots and storylines are convoluted. Especially hated the episode that showed labels and price tags on the characters clothes. We already know they're rich hedge funders. Just stupid
@GoogleisTyrant Sounds to me like you've given up on the show without even giving it a chance. I watched it and loved it. Prince isn't a "do-gooder", he just manages his optics in a way that I've been screaming at Axe through my TV to do since he splurged on that southampton mansion in ep 1. He's Axe 2.0. Less rage fueled vendettas (which were fun up to a point) and more long term "death in your sleep as they applaud me."
Take all the stupid emotions out and nothing was done wrong.
If you are in the financial market kill all damn emotions because those that hate you for your success will spread the news of your downfall and still dread you when you drop to their level.
