I love the Old Coldstream Slow Marches arranged by Trevor Sharpe right at the start. Nice to hear them without a t.v. commentator prattling on ad nauseam.
Thanks! I was sure it was ' .... and Glory' but couldn't remember the first bit and its been annoying me since Saturday - it's a piece that manages to give me goosebumps on the rare occasions that I hear it!
WONDERFUL! Long ago I lived in London. I love the countryside but I miss the Old Girl! Now I travel up from Somerset (too early to use my OAP bus pass for the journey to the coach station:() I disembark at Victoria & scuttle along Buckingham Palace Road as fast as arthritis will allow to Birdcage Walk. If nothing's going on it's on to Horse Guards - have to pat those beautiful Irish Draughts before I carry on exhibitions/museums etc. How lucky are we to enjoy this? The family name is Monck?!!:)
ToCGambler hey they are both Celtic so it sounds ok to me :) the reason is because originally the Irish yards were supposed to go but something happened
@@seandonnell5171 The musician forgot to switch the music sheets, thus there was a confusion of Garb of Old Gaul and Let Erin Remember played at the same time. Bill Mott had a chat with them afterwards.
@Mullet94 - no tripod!!!! That's ridiculous:) Mind you, my phone is only one down from a house brick. Good eye for composition, too. The British Film Industry needs you.

The mass bands sound is like no other. And you Red Coats sure know how to march and put on a performance. ❤️🇺🇸
I love hearing the sounds of the massed bands - thanks for posting!
Steve Staite's style with the mace is one of a kind.
Love the tune to the Old Coldstream Marches
Everytime I listen it makes me happy !
