Just wanted to tell you thanks for showing the shift knob removal and replacement so I know what to expect when replacing mine! I have an E60 535 6MT and absolutely love it more than any vehicle I've ever owned (and I've owned many in my time). I just ordered that same ZHP shift knob after reading about it on old BMW forums and hearing how drastically improved the shifting experience is over the stock shift knob. Can't wait to receive it and pop the old one off and install this new one! I've read and heard warnings in other videos about being careful to not hit yourself in the face removing the old one, I thought you were going to avoid that since you were at an angle, but I did get a little chuckle when it happened to you anyway!
